After reading reviews on multiple sites, it's surprising they haven't replaced the consistently abrasive office staff yet. The persons who answer the phones and check patients in really are the face of the office, and regardless of how wonderful the doctors are, it's irrelevant if the office staff are off-putting. Yes, there are some great docs at Arvada Peds. However, a few things finally made me decide to seek another provider: 1) Office staff's way of speaking to patients (or patients' parents) 2) Sick visits seem to be very limited and fill up first thing in the morning (no, I don't want to bring my kid with strep or pneumonia or an infection in two days from now,...read full review

Been taking my daughter here since she was a newborn. We were willing to deal with the rude front desk staff because we loved our physician but she left so it was not worth it anymore. Building seems rundown and staff are not personable or engaged.

We see Dr. McHugh and have been very happy with our experience there. We're always able to get in when our daughter is sick. I like that they're conservative in their approach and don't over-treat, but each time my daughter has truly needed it Dr. McHugh has prescribed the right course to get her healthy and happy again.
