On November 22, 2023 I went in for a haircut. I wanted an angled bob and instead, all my hair was chopped off by Philip Loren. It’s been almost 6 months and I’m still extremely angry about this and now it’s growing out unevenly. After such a horrible experience, I don’t want ANYONE to ever touch my hair again. I went in a few days later and was asked to change my review. I’m leaving the valley soon and I feel like people should know the truth. Last summer, I went in for an undercut. That was also botched. When I explained it to Sally, she asked who did it and I told her. She told me that stylist wasn’t working there at the time. I don’t appreciate the attempt at gaslighting because I know who did my hair and exactly what happened. 11/22/23 was the 5th anniversary of my last suicide attempt and I wanted to do something nice for myself. I go in for a cut I’ve had several times before and I leave feeling embarrassed to be seen in public. This place doesn’t seem to care what you want, they just do whatever they feel like. And spending the entire time cutting my hair talking about the line in my color (done on purpose so I could see the difference between my current color and my natural color) and how I’d look “so cute with a perm” did absolutely nothing to fix the situation. I’d rather let a blind toddler cut my hair than EVER trust anyone here to touch my hair ever again.
