“I cannot recommend The Barber Republic enough! My son is 15 months old and this is his second time having his hair cut. Ariel, the owner not only knows what he is doing, but he is so patient and understanding with wiggly children.

With all the time I have sat in this shop and observed all of the barbers, I can confidently say that every single one is great at their craft.

The Barber Republic is an extremely welcoming and chill environment. Like all great things in life, you might have to wait a couple minutes before being seen, however, with the quality and time these professionals put into their work it will be worth it!“

“I stumbled across this place on my way to another place to get my haircut and I was pleasantly surprised. I said to myself, “this looks like a REAL BARBER SHOP” and it was. I love the old school vibe with the checker board floor and the sports memorabilia all over the walls. It’s a huge space with lots of room to just hang out if that’s your thing. I’m pretty sure the guy that cut my hair was the owner but I didn’t catch his name. I’m guessing he was a Lopez since the sign on the wall says “Lopez Corner”. He was a great guy, old school and easy to talk to. No nonsense and understands the value of customer service. I didn’t realize that he is a cash only shop so I didn’t have enough cash to pay in full. He is so cool, he told me whatever I have is enough. I really appreciated his good nature and great service. The haircut was great, I can’t recommend this shop enough. Although I live over an hour away I’m certain I’ll be back when I need another cut. If you’re not into the foo foo cut and want an old school barber you have to try Percy Avenue Barber Shop.“
