Wanted to refresh the house after having it built 15 years ago. Was turned off by the Sacramento designers, they were over the top with ideas. I was frustrated not finding the right person to help, then I thought, my buddy kim Gilpatric has been in the interior design business all his life, educated in interior design and a resume that was very impressive. Called him to see if this was in his wheelhouse, and he was a yes. From the initial discussion through the entire process, changed carpets to top of the line wool Berber and a total interior repaint. Paint included cabinets ceiling's walls, crown molding and baseboards. The painter was a master in his trade, along with a very competent assistant, and demonstrated a professional approach from start to finish. The carpet installers were also first rate. When the carpet is $125./yard I wanted the install flawless, and it was. Kim was on every detail and orchestrated his team like a maestro. All of the craftsman were punctual, polite, and trust worth. This is what I expected and paid top dollar for the service. Kim delivered beyond my and my wife's expectation. If you need direction on design elements, paint, carpet, you will not waste time or money engaging KGilpatric interior, I am pleased beyond words with Kim.Thank you Gilpatric interior.
The first time we called Earl’s, Oscar helped us out with our water heater issue. He was professional and pleasant from beginning to end. Another company told us the day prior that we would need a new water heater, yet Oscar worked on it for about 15 min. got the pilot light lit! There was no charge !! We appreciated his work, and willingness to try.
Unfortunately, our water heater was quite old, and we needed to call a second time and have it replaced.
I was happy to see that it was Oscar, who came out the second time. He got right to work assessing the job, giving us a fair estimate, and got the job done within a few hours, all in the same day with one appointment. He was professional and proficient and did a great job making it look good and cleaning up.

I cannot recommend The Barber Republic enough! My son is 15 months old and this is his second time having his hair cut. Ariel, the owner not only knows what he is doing, but he is so patient and understanding with wiggly children.
With all the time I have sat in this shop and observed all of the barbers, I can confidently say that every single one is great at their craft.
The Barber Republic is an extremely welcoming and chill environment. Like all great things in life, you might have to wait a couple minutes before being seen, however, with the quality and time these professionals put into their work it will be worth it!
I stumbled across this place on my way to another place to get my haircut and I was pleasantly surprised. I said to myself, “this looks like a REAL BARBER SHOP” and it was. I love the old school vibe with the checker board floor and the sports memorabilia all over the walls. It’s a huge space with lots of room to just hang out if that’s your thing. I’m pretty sure the guy that cut my hair was the owner but I didn’t catch his name. I’m guessing he was a Lopez since the sign on the wall says “Lopez Corner”. He was a great guy, old school and easy to talk to. No nonsense and understands the value of customer service. I didn’t realize that he is a cash only shop so I didn’t have enough cash to pay in full. He is so cool, he told me whatever I have is enough. I really appreciated his good nature and great service. The haircut was great, I can’t recommend this shop enough. Although I live over an hour away I’m certain I’ll be back when I need another cut. If you’re not into the foo foo cut and want an old school barber you have to try Percy Avenue Barber Shop.

Today was my first time here. The people are very professional. The nail salon was very busy but the receptionist kept everyone on task and kept the customers moving right along. I have been going to this salon for a a couple of years. Michele is very attentive and provides great customer service. She always tries to accommodate my busy schedule. My son also gets his hair cut here. She does a great boys baseball haircut and wants to make sure that he is happy.

I’ve just had the best perm experience at Carnes and Co. Linda was recommended by a friend and I asked for a consultation which she happily discussed with me over the phone. Her love of people was so apparent from the first conversation. I see how kindly everyone is treated at the salon. Linda answered all my questions, gave her recommendations and insight on my hair type and lifestyle needs, basically kept me very involved in the whole process. The process was so enjoyable, it’s almost therapeutic. I love the curls, trim and shape up into my new effortless look. I am very particular when it comes to being half naked on a table in front of a stranger so I'm not writing this review for no reason. The first time I met Lucinda I couldn't have been more comfortable. She makes you forget that you're lying fully exposed on a table getting your body waxed. She makes you comfortable mentally and physically, goes above and beyond, is very professional but extremely friendly and welcoming. She has become my go-to for waxing services and I highly recommend her to anyone and everyone.

I went in and I have very light pain tolerance and got threading but I did not feel anything it was so fast and my hair grew very slow after it . Don helped me switch out some dermal tops. The dermals had shifted and were pretty enflamed. He went over the possibilities and what to expect. Ended up coming back the next day to change out some other dermals. Price of $10 was acceptable for a simple replacement, he did mention that if he has to bring out the tools and/or procedure is more complicated than a simple switch the price would change. I found that to be a valid point and appreciated the straightforwardness.
Super chill dude and pretty hygenic. The shop itself is about of a hole-in-wall but the piercing area specifically is good. Ended up coming again the next day as it was easier to just have him change out the piercings.
Specialties: Don is very informative in his piercing knowledge. Was able to explain the situation in simple terms to better understand.
Cleanliness: The shop was pretty clean and so long as you're not expecting app member or medical facility cleanliness then you should be good to go.

In September, 2023, I had a pinhole leak in my icemaker water line. 11 months later, I have a kitchen that I LOVE thanks to Dave Grrenetz Construction. The reason it took so long is because: it was obvious the first contractor I chose was not going to get to the project for months but wouldn't come right out and say that; and after working 3 months on the estimate and preliminary work before actual construction, the 2nd contractor I chose dropped me because they didn't have "the resources" to do the work. But what it boiled down to is that they were located in Sacramento and didn't want to work in Yuba City. So I started asking for recommendations of a local contractor. I asked 3 different people who didn't have anything in common with each other except knowing me, and everyone recommended the same company; Dave Greenetz Construction. I called and spoke to Dave. He came by my house 2 days later. Within 5 business days, he had the subs come by to look at my the job at my house. Within 10 business days, I had an estimate and a timeline for the work. I had to wait about 5 weeks for the construction to start. But once it did, it was full steam ahead. Brandon was my assigned Craftsman for the job. He was so good to work with. He was always on time, a hard worker, kept me up to date and informed of the status and schedule of the project, was very respectful and easy-going and just a very nice guy. His quality of work was excellent! And his tool resources were incredible! We had a couple of delays due to sub scheduling, but nothing major and I now have a new kitchen that I absolutely LOVE! If you have a remodel job, you cannot go wrong using Dave Greenetz Construction!

I called Moses to come and service my new home for bugs, rodents and spiders. He was very efficient and explained everything to me that he was doing. Moses assured me that if I needed him to come back at any time, he would. I’m very pleased with his service and will refer him to anyone that needs pest control services.

I am terrified of the dentist and have so much anxiety just thinking about it. When I went to my first appointment, Dr. Cordano talked to me about my fears and explained if treatment is needed what he would do and use. Also during this appointment he did an exam and he checked things that i have never had checked like my soft tissues and if I had TMJ. I went to my first treatment appointment and he kept me so calm throughout the process. I felt no pain at all. Not even the pinch from the injection. My treatment was done and he said I can have some soreness but I have none at all. I highly recommend him. He is amazing.
Cordano Dental is just full of amazing people who provide outstanding service! From a loving kind dentist who made me feel at home and took the time to continually explain my care and ensure I wasn’t afraid or in any pain at all! I had a really tough root canal and it honestly was a great experience and so not what you expect will happen! It wasn’t bad in the least bit!! I felt confident and I trusted my dentist really cared!The staff who assisted were also so kind and amazing and the staff at the front desk were warm friendly and helpful. Christie went above and beyond several times to make sure I understood my dental charges, informed me on ways to pay and helped make sure my FSA requirements were met by sending out the extra proof of care they asked for! I can’t imagine using another dental team at this point! So absolutely impressed by what an amazing staff at Cordono Dental
I always hate going to the dentist, fears that came from horrible experience with a bad dentist when I was a child. I am now in my 60’s still hate it, but Yuba City Smiles office (formerly Dr. Kittles office) always makes it comfortable and I leave feeling great!!

I initially went in for a DOT physical. I called in & was able to be seen same day on a Friday . After talking with Dr. Kalay and seeing how honest and genuine he was I decided to give the chiropractic a try for my scoliosis and hip pains . He is a real one , does great work , cares about his job & his patients . The office stays busy but I never feel rushed like I am just a number for the day.

Dr. Mann has helped me through severe pain I’ve been suffering for awhile, I have felt much better after all the treatments I’ve had with her and I feel like my joints are flexible and stronger (I have RA). I recommend her to everyone and she also speaks Punjabi! Her assistant is super sweet and helpful. If you are looking for a good doctor I would recommend her , I always feel comfortable in the office and it is ALWAYS clean!
I know this practitioner for over 30 yrs! Heals me time over time when I got myself in trouble getting sick or eating the wrong things too often! Op top of his intuitive nature he has these years of experience. He has written cooking recipes and classes that make you change some food habits not so good for you in a new delicious 'cuisine'! So I have been wanting to go to a Chiropractor for a long time due to neck and back pain, and while driving I happen to see the Pain Relief Clinic and gave them a call. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter and myself. We had a great experience. I like the nice and convent service, and doctor was great. I had this pain in my neck & no matter what I did nothing would relieve the pain. The day after my alignment it was gone! Like for real I've had this pain for years! I am so thankful and will be returning when I need another alignment :)

I came into the office in April with the worst pain in my feet that you can possibly imagine. I could hardly stand and walk across the room! I had been walking 2 miles a day, but now I couldn't at all! Plus I had a trip to New York City at the end of May. How could I do that with my painful feet that kept me awake all night? It was plantar fasciitis at its worst. What could I do? I don't do well on meds, so pain pills were not an option. Dr. Scott to the rescue. Advanced Chiropractic Wellness had a treatment for this awful and limiting condition. I started out with weekly treatments and was able to get to New York and enjoy the trip, although I couldn't walk as much as I had before. I've graduated to treatment every other week, and am getting out to walk again, a mile nearly every day. My feet don't keep me awake all night either. No pain pills. It's August, and what a difference 4 months has made!
Dr Funk has been treating my daughter for several years. Being a dancer and now a cheerleader, tumbling can be hard on the body. His adjustments have really helped to relieve pain and keep her body healthy. The entire office staff is professional and kind and make us feel like valued patients.
I can't be happier with my visit. I went to the Skin and Cancer center in Yuba City for a rash I had. Boy, am I glad I did. Steph quickly noticed multiple spots that looked bad. Fortunately for me only 4 of the 8 spots were cancer. Steph surgically exsized them and the pathology showed everything was removed that needed to be. Having professionals that can see potential problems is AWESOME. I had seen another Dr. about the rash and they said nothing about the bad spots. Thanks again Steph and Jeanette. I'll be back in 6 months for another checkup.

Overall - really good experience - especially for an online doctor (skymd)! Details of Visit - He clearly read the info I provided before he created a treatment plan and he thoroughly described why he chose that plan. He let me ask questions. I "saw" Dr. Peppercorn after an in-person derm. visit with a doctor in Dallas. I didn't feel like she listened to me (didn't ask any questions and wasn't interested in my info. Despite it being online - I felt more listened to than with my in-person doctor. Note: My experience may be different than yours. I think one of the reasons my visit turned out great was because I gave detailed info in my write up and considered questions before my *visit. My advice is to do the following to make the most of your visit: 1) Write up detailed info about your skin issue. When did it start? Do you ever see it get better? What were other over the counter treatments you've tried. Have you been to other doctors. Are there possible correlating issues or other medical issues you have. 2) Ask follow-up questions. Ask why. Make sure you understand the why and how of the treatment plan.
I had been referred to Dr. Hadari by my Dr. for some growths. When the receptionist phoned me to set up the appointment she was very professional and kind. She was able to answer all my questions. When I showed up for my appointment, I was seen immediately, no waiting. The front desk was very welcoming. The staff member that took me back was very kind and welcoming, as well. I was very happy upon meeting Dr. Hadari. She was very thorough in examining my health concerns. It was obvious that she is very well educated in her field.
Dr. Kim is an empathetic physician and I would I recommend her to any of my family members. She really takes the time to listen.

Dr. Greg Chance is amazing and will do anything to make sure you are happy with your results. Their RN Lauren previously did a lip flip on me and it turned out absolutely amazing and I am beyond happy with my results.
Have been going to them for years. They got bought out a while back, but the new veterinarians are fantastic and truly care more about your pets quality of life rather than making money off treatments. Staff is always kind, personable and do their best to get you an appointment right away. Always an easy experience when I go. Highly recommend taking your pet here.
I personally have had decades of pet ownership and have had many great experiences with good veterinarians at various veterinarian clinics and hospitals. I recently I had to say goodbye to my sweet little Chihuahua and Dr. Preston Collins was the attending veterinarian. There are no words to express how very grateful I feel toward his expertise, professionalism, and compassion for my fur baby and me! By far the best veterinarian I have had the pleasure to meet and especially to take care of my “Baby”. Highly recommend his services at Davies Vet!

I have an almost 2 year old Australian Shepherd mix named Corbin. Jessica was referred to me and she is definitely someone I recommend to you. I have gone to Pet Smart in the past, and I don't know what they did or do, but Corbin HATED going there. I thought he didn't like being groomed. I discussed with Jessica my concerns, and she reassured me that my doggo was gonna be okay. When I picked up Corbin, it was like he had the time of his life. He befriended Jessica and her 2 fellow co-workers (I don't remember their names otherwise I'd name them too). I absolutely recommend coming to the 2nd street location in Yuba City. I'm never going anywhere else for my doggo.

Katie greeted me at the door with a smile and was very professional and pleasant the entire time. I was in town visiting my son stationed at Beale AFB and was looking for a massage. She was definitely what I was looking for and she did not disappoint! Very kind, courteous and my needs were her first priority. We discussed my concerns and they no longer existed after the hour and a half I spent with her. I asked for a deep tissue massage and that's exactly what I received. She made sure the pressure met my needs. She made sure the blanket was warm, she made sure all my needs were met. I was extremely pleased with my visit today and I will definitely go back. I'd highly recommend her as well.
