“This is a review for Dr. Harry Ding, who treated me at a different location. I saw several skilled acupuncturists for my condition through a hospital and I felt that his was the most effective treatment. I had no idea about nuances in acupuncturist education throughout treatment and so was not swayed by his impressive background when going into the appointments. I appreciated Dr. Ding's careful attention to my concerns, and thorough explanations of TCM diagnosis and treatment. He has a very caring and attentive bedside manner. He also used needles that were either thinner or less perceptible than others', but no less effective. I felt very deep relaxation during treatments, it was almost a drug-like effect. I was quite shocked that the general wellness approach happened to help my stubborn insomnia of 2+ year duration, and anxiety greatly, which wasn't a stated goal of treatment. I felt this after about 3-4 treatments which were spread out over months due to holidays (though not all were with Dr. Ding.) Subsequently I looked into the medical literature and there are indeed medical literature reviews showing acupuncture is helpful for insomnia after just 3 weeks - pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/… ... not that one needs confirmation in western literature, but it's gratifying when they align. Anyway, I'm a convert and am excited to pursue acupuncture more long-term for health maintenance.I hope to come to this clinic once my insurance changes. We are quite lucky to have such skilled practitioners in the bay.“

“I have been seeing Dr. Kan for over 20 years which is kind of astounding when I think about it. I can say without question that he is one of the best acupuncturists out there. I've tried many others and I've had no treatment or results come even close to what Dr. Kan can do and do so quickly and efficiently. It's amazing. I left the Bay Area for NYC for a few years and one of the things I missed the most was having access to Dr. Kan. And when we moved back to San Francisco, one of the first things we did upon return was go see Dr. Kan. He is a true gifted healer which is really rare. He understands how to get to the root causes of issues and not just treat symptoms and by doing so alleviates the symptoms. I really don't think there is anything he cannot address. From acute issues, to chronic ones, or just for a tune-up, I whole-heartedly recommend Dr. Kan.“

“I had Bell's Palsy 10 +years ago, and I have seen so many acupuncturists and had so many treatment that I become a "professional patient". I know who is experienced and not based on their techniques.Dr. Zeng is definitely very experienced. I went there because I have been feeling dizzy and had neck/shoulder pain for a few weeks. “I called this center maybe 3 months prior to my first appointment with a accupuncturist. When I called, the receptionist told me they were booked out for 3 months in advanced. However, since this place was nearby and I read all the positive views on yelp, I really wanted to try this place out. So I gave them my insurance information and waited for my turn. Well the day finally came for my appointment. They did not send me any reminders for that day, but I wrote in my calendar that I had an appointment, however I was unsure if it was at 2:30pm or 2:45pm. So I opted to come a little before 2:30pm in hopes of not missing my appointment. When I arrived I like the receptionist know I was there for an appointment and she said she was very glad I showed up because she said it was her fault for not writing down my number when I booked the appointment way back when. Well thank goodness I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget and was able to see the acupuncturist. There are two acupuncturist at this center (Angela and Minal). I booked my appointment with Minal. She was very sweet and knowledge about the practice. I did an acupuncture with cupping. Cupping was an extra $10 that was not covered with my insurance but I figured it was still a good deal. I have only done acupuncture and cupping once before this experience. Minal said she does this thing called moving cupping. Where she uses the same cups but moves it throughout the whole back. There were a few points where I experienced extra pain from the needles (which she told me was because it was super tense there) and some pain with the heat from the cups. She released a little bit of the energy and then added it back when I was able to tolerate it a bit more. She was very kind and made sure to check in on my throughout the experience. I explained that I have been pretty bad back pain for awhile now since working at my job due to all the bending over and lifting. Even to a point that I bought a back brace. Minal was able to help relieve some of the pain and I can only hope that as I go more frequently it will be more helpful. Overall, I had a great experience with Minal. I will definitely be back for more appointments. It may be intimidating to know that it took me this long to get an appointment, but after you get your initial appointment, it's not as bad to get another appointment in. They have a system that notifies you when someone cancels their appointment so you can pick it up. Also to further convince you, I had the best sleep that night after my treatment so it is def worth it!“
