I can't say enough good things about Dr. Linda Shelby-Read. I started seeing her when I was struggling to get pregnant and from the very start she was a calming and reassuring presence that was very a valuable resource to have throughout my journey. The conversation always came easy and it felt more like talking to a friend than a medical professional. In addition to acupuncture, she suggested diet modifications and supplements/herbs depending on where I was in my IVF treatment. I can't count how many times I walked into her office overwhelmed, and left feeling relaxed and heard. I waited for Viveka to become an acupuncturist, knowing what a diligent student she was. She never disappointed my expectations! When I lived closer, I was a regular at her clinic. She helped me understand that some of my health issues were genetic. She brought balance back into my life, besides being a good friend. One of the best things about the Healing Compass is that the practitioners really live according to the healing practices they represent.
I can't say enough about Dr. Linda Shelby-Read. I started seeing her for infertility and acid reflux. After nearly a year of trying to get conceive, I felt I needed a little help and on the first cycle with her, Dr. Linda made it happen! (I don't think it typically happens that fast so please don't have that expectation for yourself.) In addition to the acupuncture, she has also worked with me on my nutrition and gave me a supplement regimen that helps with my acid reflux along with some of the other lovely side effects that go along with being pregnant.
