Dr. Allan Kurtz is described by his patients as a caring, professional, and truly amazing doctor who they trust completely. Many have been with him for over twenty years, noting he is reliable, listens attentively, and personally follows up with phone calls. Patients feel he sees them as people, not just numbers, and takes time with them, sometimes personally updating their charts. His staff is also noted as friendly, kind, and knowledgeable, contributing to efficient visits. However, there are significant concerns about office organization. One patient reported arriving for a confirmed appointment only to find the office closed, and experienced great difficulty getting lab orders sent despite multiple emails and calls, with staff seeming unhelpful. While the doctor himself receives the highest praise for his warmth and attentiveness, these administrative issues have led to disappointment for some long-term patients.
I have been with Dr. Kurtz from Day 1 of his practice and I know I could never find a more caring and professional doctor in my entire life time. He was so good to my mom before she passed and now he is so good to me also. I trust him! I couldn't be happier knowing I have peace of mind with this truly amazing man! Dr. Kurtz is the best! He truly cares about his patients more than any doctor I've ever seen! God Bless Him!
Dr. Alan Kurtz had been my doctor for over 20 years.. he is the most reliable, caring man that actually listens and follows up with a phone call to see how you are doing .. Yes sometimes you have to wait.. but who doesn’t in a doctors office.. he takes time to see you as a patient not a $$$ sign like most doctors do.. I’ll continue to see him him until my last breathe in me. You go Dr. Kurtz!!
One thing that really impresses me about Dr. Kurtz is that, rather than a medical assistant, he always takes my medical history and personally updates my chart. His receptionists and medical assistants were very kind and knowledgeable. They had me in and out within an hour, even after doing X-rays, an ekg, and blood work! I'm grateful to have a PCP who is able to be warm and attentive without compromising any efficiency
