“I came to Marine and Khach after seeing they had done other fast-turnaround miracles for brides and hoping that they could also do one for me too. I had bought a wedding dress at a reasonable time but decided it wasn’t the right one, so by the time I found MY dress, it was already way into crunch time. My wedding was 12.29.23, and it did not arrive until after Thanksgiving while I was already out of town for two weeks. I got back on December 8th and knew it was a bit of a long shot to find someone to deal with shortening all this beautiful detailed lace and working this dramatic of a train into a reasonable bustle. I reached out to two other places as a safety and didn’t even get a response from them. Mari emailed me back immediately and told me to come in, and they worked their magic so quickly I was in for just two fittings before the final fitting/pickup, which they somehow managed to do a whole week before the big day!You can see for yourself the dress turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and the seven point pleated bustle was gorgeous for twirling around the dance floor on my first dance. I threw in a picture of how it was before alterations (way too long!) I really can’t thank Luxury Alterations enough for being the heroes of this wedding and saving the day.It is also worth mentioning that they are SO nice and easy to work with! Khach even did a quick tailor on my brother’s groomsman tux (his sleeves were just a bit too long) in just two days. And their prices are more than reasonable for the quality and fast turnaround. I would absolutely recommend them to any Los Angeles area brides or anyone needing any alterations; they really care about their work and their clients. We are so lucky to have them here in Tarzana now that they have just moved from the Bay Area!! ❤️ Can’t wait to come back in the future!“

“Joanne is amazing! She was one of the few people willing to give me a ballpark quote over the phone based on where my bridesmaid dress is from. Everywhere else said I had to bring it in or they charged me a higher price than Joanne's pricing. I just needed a simple trim of the dress and Joanne was able to perform in a timely manner. I even forgot to bring shoes when I had to try on the dress for pickup but she was prepared and had extra! I am so happy I found Joanne since she lives close to me and I plan to keep her as my go to tailor. I use to have one in Sherman oaks but since I've moved Joanne offers just as great service and pricing.“

“You know when you're so pleasantly surprised by friendly and fast service that you have sort of a stunned look on your face all day? This was me after arriving at Sherman Oaks Dry Cleaners one morning frantic about having a pair of pants I needed hemmed within 48 hours. Not only were they open a few minutes early and smiling when I walked in, but they texted me three hours later to say my pants were done!!!!! Three hours! And the place is neat, clean, and organized. “I used to have Gianni tailor all of my slacks and suits from high school in the 80s through the mid 90s when I got out of college. I always knew he'd fix everything perfectly. I moved away, and ended up in an industry that didn't require tailored clothes.Fast forward 28 years. My son is getting married, so I bought a new suit (first in 30 years ). I live in outside of LA County, and don't know of a tailor in my neck of the woods. I wondered to myself if Gianni was still in business, so I Googled Fontana di Trevi. Boy, am I glad I did! I took my suit in, and Gianni remembered me! I told him there was no hurry, so I picked it up today, and he, at 80 years old, is still an artist. My suit is absolutely, beautifully tailored. “I LOVE this place for all my hemming needs! They don't do just dry cleaning all (which I will add is also amazing.) I have had two bridesmaids dresses hemmed here in the last year. They are very reasonably priced. I got quotes from multiple places and felt comfortable here. They have a little dressing room where you can try the clothes on and they will pin it for you where the items need to be fixed. One of my dresses had five layers to it which she mentioned would take an extra day or so but that was fine with me! The dresses both came out perfectly. The best part is they were able to do it in less than 5 days. Small parking lot in front but I've never had issues getting parking. I highly recommend coming here for all your dry cleaning and hemming needs.“

“I hardly ever write reviews, but the owners of this cleaners are so sweet! I realized I needed to have my wedding veil pressed just a couple days before my wedding, they were able to help me while I was in a state of panic. I was in a desperate situation, as everyone else was not able to help me on the same day, so I was willing to pay however much it cost, but they even wanted to give me a discount for being a bride which I refused, but was so thoughtful of them. I am moving, but if I were local, I would gladly use them for any future dry cleaning needs, only wish I would've found them sooner!“

I finally located the place inside of a hair studio, hidden between a seafood restaurant and a massage place. The seamstress, darn, can't remember her name, was very pleasant, responsive to my needs, and reasonably priced.“
