Very knowledgeable and helpful
I highly advise avoiding this CPA. I had a very costly, negative experience. Due to a medical issue I had multiple years of back taxes to file, so I was in a hurry to get them in. I called Lawrence based on the positive yelp reviews, explained the situation, my income sources and the constraints to get them filed quickly to avoid issues. When I spoke on the phone before meeting in person, he quoted me a very competitive rate but left it open because he had to look at my actual filing (understandable). We have used Lawrence for over 5 years and he is patient and looks at every angle (eg scheduling joint or separate, what to put away in IRA to review tax benefits). I love going in for two hours and he does them right there and then with us able to answer questions and look at scenarios. Love walking out of the office knowing where we are. And now, his software will run what to expect in 2018 because of tax changes.
