Would like to mention, I brought a 30 year old horse in for exam for possible colic etc. At that time an exam and pain meds administered, oiled stomach plus IV fluids. Dr Hunter asked if I could leave the horse, and I said does he have gut sounds, if not the kind thing would put him to sleep and that I had a budget of 500 and could not leave the horse, I would see if he improved to take him home. At around 4 PM , a second vet examined the horse and said torchen in gut, I was then handed a 1,600.00 vet bill, and took horse home to die in two hours. Only vet to call me immediately back when my filly was colicing. He and his assistant came out immediately and took great care of her.
I took my mare there to foal and be bred. She had a Caslick so my vet removed it but when Dr Bob checked her he had to open it. I visited several days later she had an infection. I pointed it out to Dr Bob he cleaned it and put ointment on it. I visited several days later and noticed it was still red and swollen. I pointed it out to Sara she said she would let the vet know. My foal was born with an infection. She got 8 days of antibiotics. I visited several days later and noticed the mare had a cloudy discharge looked like an infection.
