Would like to mention, I brought a 30 year old horse in for exam for possible colic etc. At that time an exam and pain meds administered, oiled stomach plus IV fluids. Dr Hunter asked if I could leave the horse, and I said does he have gut sounds, if not the kind thing would put him to sleep and that I had a budget of 500 and could not leave the horse, I would see if he improved to take him home. At around 4 PM , a second vet examined the horse and said torchen in gut, I was then handed a 1,600.00 vet bill, and took horse home to die in two hours. I was not only devastated at the cost but second vet who examined said torchen gut. I am a single parent and have...read full review
I took my mare there to foal and be bred. She had a Caslick so my vet removed it but when Dr Bob checked her he had to open it. I visited several days later she had an infection. I pointed it out to Dr Bob he cleaned it and put ointment on it. I visited several days later and noticed it was still red and swollen. I pointed it out to Sara she said she would let the vet know. My foal was born with an infection. She got 8 days of antibiotics. I visited several days later and noticed the mare had a cloudy discharge looked like an infection. I pointed it out to Dr Bob assistant he said he would let the vet know. Nothing was done. Dr Bob went to breed her on her foal heat and he noticed she an infection and fluid inside. Which I had pointed out the week before. He flushed her and bred her. She didn't take. I got a call from Dr Bob several days later telling me the mare cut her leg and needed stitches. That was 745.00 additional. He bred her several days later And again he noticed she had an infection so he flushed her then bred her. I feel like he should of taken care of the infection completely before breeding her again. Then I got a call saying she had been bred but my foal had lost hair on her throat and pill and it was a lil swollen. I had enough I called and let them know I would be there the next day. When I got there to pick them up the foal had a giant rope burn on her throat. My mare was ther almost two months was bred twice and it cost me almost 4200.00. It was very expensive and my mare and foal both had infections and injuries. I would not recommend them to anyone
Rates are too expensive, incompetent Dr., and his Helper took a leak in the middle of my Driveway. so in February, 2018 my mare cut her leg on a fence or something, I called Dr. Hunter, he came out to the ranch gave her antibiotics and wrapped up the wound, charged me $515, now its the end of April, 2 1/2 monthslater and the wound has not healed, i called the Dr. and he came out to again for the second time, while at the front gate of my property, his female helper or g
