“Such a wonderful experience getting my hair cut at Black Sheep. Marie was so patient and easy to communicate with. The shop has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable, professional and accommodating.

Salon Farouk is on PCH with ample parking behind the salon. Nicely decorated, it's a large space with plenty of fresh air. Even when people get hair color it never smells.
Martin is an amazingly gifted hairdresser... He listens to what you want and how much styling you are willing to do yourself. His cuts are perfect, I love how he works with my wavy texture for minimal maintenance hair! He's been my hairdresser for 9 years now and I travel several hours to see him.
The salon sells a few select products at competitive prices as well. Definitely a customer for life!“

I decided to come back for a balayage and she absolutely killed it. She educated me on hair care which I deeply appreciated. “Ashley, is beyond amazing! Her booking is super easy, her location has plenty of parking and was easy to locate. Ashley is so kind, personable and very professional. Her salon is super cute and her skills are top tier! I asked for a very specific braid style and she executed, she got my hair right! My braids have lasted with little to no frizz. Also, my head did not hurt for days on end for the cute style. I mean her braiding was on point but minus the pain. Honestly, I didn't even realize that she was done with the cornrows. “JD is amazing! Excellent stylist and wonderful person!! I was fortunate enough to find JD right before my daughter's prom. He scheduled our appointment without hesitation for a super busy Saturday morning and my daughter's silk press turned out beautiful!!! He is on point with his scheduling and technique. My daughter has returned to him since the prom and loves her hair every single time. Her hair is always healthy and shiny. One times we even called him to see if he could squeeze her in last minute same day and even though he had already closed his shop for the day and gone all the way home, he turned right around and reopened for her, got her hair done beautifully and on time for her event and he had an appointment out of town that he had to rush to!! I had an event to go to and since family pictures were going to be taken I needed help with hair and makeup. I was able to get an appointment with Rena. Well let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised. It was better than I expected. Everyone complimented my makeup. Rena did an excellent job and I think she's very talented. The lashes were perfect and nothing she used bothered my skin nor eyes for the whole night. I was there for more than a couple hours because I have a lot of hair and the time flew right by. “Love coming here for grooming and supplies. The location is great next to Long Beach City College. This place opens 7 days, and the hours are convenient. I've been coming here for decades now and never disappointed. She uses the latest cutting-edge clips and is great with scissors cutting. This place is always jamming with different types of music for your comfort. And she can accommodate your preferences upon request. Want to say thank you to Thavy. She is a great barber and stylish. She doesn't just cut your hair, she make you LOOK GOOD! Great customer service and hospitality in general. I definitely recommend this location due to their outstanding customer service experience.
