“I met Dr. Peter Le while he was engaging in some outreach at my local gym. It has been years since I last visited a chiropractor, and I had never gone to one for more than a single session. As a bit of background, I suffer from significant lower backpain, and have a herniated disc. I contacted him and set up my first appointment a few months ago. The office was spotless, and my appointment time was respected. Dr. Le and I chatted casually throughout the procedure. He explained to me what he was doing, and how things might feel. I left the first session feeling hopeful, and already a little bit better with all of the stretching, cupping, and massage therapy. Fast forward to today. I have been to approximately 7-8 sessions, and my lower back is at least 80% better. The constant pain that I was living with has become far more manageable, and most of the time is almost imperceptible. I attribute this change to Dr. Le and my now routine visits to his office for care. I am not a believer in all treatments for different long-term ills. While some people swear by things like chiropractic care, I was certainly skeptical. My profession is filled with a long line of back pain sufferers, and I am hoping to be able to avoid surgery down the line. “About three weeks ago, I woke up with pain in my lower back pain with intermittent needle piercing. I had difficulties walking, sitting and laying down. I couldn't stand up straight. I tried the ice, heat, stretching, TENS, rest but I couldn't get relief. Nothing made it better. I called Dr Levy's office and the receptionist asked when i wanted to come in. I expected sometime next week, but was surprised when she said an opening this afternoon at 3. I arrived on time, and she had me in a room immediately. Dr. Levy came in and asked what was wrong. He has the best bedside manner of any of my doctors - listens to you, down to earth, warm personality, very compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. He said that he could help me. He came back with a heat pad for my lower back. Followed by several adjustments on a padded table. When I stood, I was straighter, and my hips were even. Oh my, it was such a relief! I made another appointment for a couple days later (who would have thought I could be better in one appointment...it had been weeks of pain), but Dr Levy told me to cancel if I felt better. He explained that I should not wait this long if I have back pain again. I now understand the bones alignment gets tweaked, the nerves pinched and the muscles get stretched trying to hold it all together. Dr. Levy says "Come back if you are in pain". In this day of constant up charges, it is very refreshing to have the office tell you not to come back unless I am in pain. Wow! This office is the gold standard.“
