I had such an amazing experience delivering my son. The nurses in labor and delivery were amazing. (KATY, KRYSTAL) They we're making sure everything was going smoothly and that I was comfortable. Also the postpartum care nurses we're so kind and caring (forgot their names). I've delivered 2 babies at this hospital and would definitely recommend to another momma to be. Both experiences we're outstanding
from labor and delivery Pros -most of the nurses were kind..attentive..communicative and friendly ..and patient with my hundreds of questions -for the most part I was checked up on alot including staff who ask you about your experience and give you an opportunity to share concerns -they give you forumla(gave the wrong one though) a box of diapers , postpartum supplies for mom, and a nice little dinner for both mom and dad -after delivery Id call often to ask more questions and concerns and there was always someone there to answer -good protocol to ensure your baby is yours and not a rando kid that got accidentally switched or could be taken Negatives -the epidural male Dr was rude and impatient with me and told me if i moved he wouldn't do it but in a rude way that stressed me out more -my obgyn is always in a rush..never asks if we have any questions..is out the door before I can ask anything . -my baby's feet were all cut up from the bands they give them! They need a different material..!! -i came back bruised from the tubes because the nurses struggled to find my veins..but that may not be their fault -the room we were in didn't really have room air adjustment but they said they were working on updating that -they never brought in the lactation consultant, I could of used it
amazing nurses, clean/pristine facility, and great attention to detail. i received a surgery here in the beginning of december. upon arrival i was a bit lost but the wonderful security guards greeted my mom and i and were happy to help. once i was taken back i had some blood drawn and met my care team. my nurse's name was shellah and my OR nurse was dina. they were both so amazing, checking in on me frequently and making sure i didn't get exposed to a specific anesthetic due to my allergy. it was my first time having a surgical procedure but they did everything they could to put my nerves to rest. as well, the anesthesiologist was attentive and awesome. after coming out of the or, i came back rather quickly and was ready to go home soon after. all the staff i interacted with were very friendly and helpful. i believe they took wonderful care of me. my site healed very quickly with great health, no infections. absolutely ecstatic by the care i received here.
