Dr. Grant has been the trusted veterinarian for our two beloved Pomeranian mix dogs throughout their entire lives, and we couldn’t be more grateful for the care she’s provided. From routine checkups to more serious concerns, Dr. Grant has always been a compassionate and skilled professional. Our dogs absolutely love her, and it's clear she has a deep affection for them too.

What truly sets Dr. Grant apart is her astute diagnostic skills and her ability to clearly explain every aspect of our dogs' health in a way that puts us at ease. We never feel rushed or overwhelmed; she takes the time to make sure we understand every option and decision. One of the many...read full review

This was my first visit to this establishment located inside of PetSmart Whittwood. I was a former patron when it was a Banfield clinic. It's about 3 years old. I met the reps for the hospital at a community event so this is a huge plus for me. Having an imprint in the community where your business is, holds a special place in my heart. The reps were so enthusiastic about animal care! This spoke volumes to their core values. My overall review in stars took into account all facets of the visit as compared to other experiences at area vet clinics: 1) ease of making appointment (4 stars) 2) wait time for actual appointment (5 stars) 3) wait time at visit (1 star) 4) administrative proficiency/billing (1 star) 5) veterinarian skill, bedside manner and knowledge (5 stars) This practice was able to accommodate me the next morning after having called them the day before. That was surprising and welcomed. I received the appointment reminder on my phone which I can appreciate however, the date of my appointment was wrong on the text message. No big deal. I was encouraged to register online prior to the visit but the website was glitching up on me and I was not able to. Not sure if f it was because of an issue with my browser or the company site. When I arrived however it took a very long time for me to be processed by staff. I attributed the longer wait to the fact that I was not able to pre-register at home. Once processed it took a considerable longer time to be seen. However the veterinarian, Dr. Grant, was so kind, warm and knowledgeable. She has an exceptional and insightful way with pets and customers that I almost didn't mind waiting that long. She was so wonderful! After my pet was examined, it took another waiting period for the estimate to be printed out and approved. I didn't expect for the costs to be so high but as pet owners, I understand that we often feel the need to relieve our furry friends of any pain or discomfort and tend to justify the costs in our heads (and in our hearts). We had to wait yet again after signing and approving the estimate, when we decided it was time for us to leave. We were there for close to 2 hours at that point. I was planning on returning the next day for the recommended injections, as my kids were getting restless and hungry. Once I notified front desk that we were leaving, our dog was taken to the back. I was saddened that it took us having to say we were leaving in order to make some progress. I made sure to ask repeatedly for an itemized receipt when I paid because I wanted to get a better sense of the costs and review them when I got home. Sadly, I didn't receive an itemized receipt. I was told that the medications and injections on the statement were billed together as one line item because they were considered discounted as a bulk package. The invoice was confusing and not very well laid out as to state what was taken off bill and what I was charged for. I had a voucher, and certain charges I thought were taken off looked like they still appeared. Lastly when I was given the medication for my pet, I was told to give my puppy half a pill twice a day. I was expecting for the pills to be cut in half for me, but they were not. Another very minor inconvenience as compared to my experience at other veterinary practices. All this to say, I don't think I have the time in my schedule to return to this clinic. In as much as I love the veterinarian there, I can't imagine taking that much time out of my day for a future examination. If these issues were ironed out (wait times and invoicing) I would seriously reconsider.

I should have written this review a year ago, but I am doing it now because I still remember how fabulous Dr. Grant and her team were to my brother's dog. I was taking care of my brother's dog while he was stationed abroad, and the pup became severely ill to the point that he wouldn't eat ANYTHING, including his favorite treat. I was so worried that I didn't sleep the night before taking him to Dr. Grant the next morning because the pup's breathing was so labored. So, I took him to Dr. Grant, and she was phenomenal with him. Dr. Grant got down on the floor with him and spoke to me while looking only at him. She stroked his head, ears, and neck to put him at ease while assessing him. After a round of tests, Dr. Grant described their treatment plan and to pick him up in four hours. When I returned, the pup was almost already back to himself; he was animated and happy again, ready to play, and his appetite returned. Over the next ten days, the length of time to complete all prescribed medication, he got better and better and returned to 100% himself. I was so grateful for Dr. Grant and her team; they returned my brother's sweet pup to health and put my fears at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Grant to anyone looking for a highly-skilled, personable, and caring veterinarian.
