I love visiting Julissa for my skincare needs! I'm in my 40's and I'm trying to be proactive with my aging skin without having to get Botox. I've gone to Julissa for micro needling, fibroblast, and most recently a derma peel. I could say with confidence my skin is improving and I'm aging gracefully under her care and with her direction! With some of the more intense treatments, Julissa is always checking in with me to see how I'm doing, making sure I'm comfortable. She talks me through the procedures letting me know what to expect. She also checks in with me the next day to see how the treatments are progressing or if I have any questions. You can tell she really cares about her clients. Celina is the best! She has so much knowledge about hair and I trust her with any hair transformation. Celina has done my highlights, given me curly cuts, and cuts for when I’m not sure how I want to wear my hair ( curly or straight). I love that when I approach her with some ideas, she knows how to tailor it to my specific hair ( i.e., when the inspo pic isn’t quite the curl pattern or density I was born with) and is also great at teaching her clients how to style at home as well. Trust me, she is worth the visit! I have moved out of the area she works and I am still willing to make the drive, because let’s face it, a good hairdresser is hard to find!

Also,you can often tell how your experience will be based on the communication. The owner Patty got back to me quickly, and worked on finding someone ASAP. She was nice and helped me out so much. Although it was last minute , She hooked me up with Wendy. Wendy has a cute and clean place. She made me feel comfortable and listened to what I wanted. I got both my eyelashes and tan done by her. Both came out great! And I was so happy because I didn't have to go to different places. The tan looked really nice. I'm normally super light, this time I wasn't embarrassed to wear a bikini. My lashes looked so nice. And I didn't have to worry about the fake ones coming off in the water. Wendy and I talked so much it went by fast and I walked out a happy customer . I found Liza through google with a serious hair issue. I had gone 6 months since my ktip extension installation and had severely tangled hair at the roots with stubborn hard-to-remove ktips! Liza was extremely kind and understanding and did not pass judgement over the phone and told me exactly what to expect during our appoint. She accommodated me next day and quickly got to work. Her utmost priority was to preserve the integrity of my hair and not over-stress it. She recommended that we split the service into two sessions to allow my scalp to rest and recover from the detangling.
She accomated for my second service in the same week! Once she got back to everything out and conditioned, she gave me advice on how to restore my hair and what I should be focusing on for better hair health. She was reassuring throughout the service!
She did not take advantage of my situation and her prices were more than fair! I could not have picked someone better to help me address this tangly mess!

I had to get a haircut like right away so I called Tonya at Clean Cuts Barbershop and she took me in and did a fantastic job. She was such a nice lady and we had some great conversations while she cut my hair. The location is perfect from me. Only a two minute drive away. I think she has a new regular client.
They say 3rd times a charm and it must be true! I have a 1 year old and had been on the hunt for a true barbershop that would take my little guy. Several places I went to around Whittier wouldn't provide service for him due to his age. Prior to finding Sal he had 2 haircuts. One left him looking like Lloyd from Dumb and Dumber the other cut was just meh... By luck I came across Sal's and spoke to him. He said he could see my boy later in the day. When we arrived he took the time to make my baby feel comfortable and gave him a tour of his shop and introduced him to Lupita the snake. He sat Leo in the barber chair with a booster and proceeded to cut his hair. My little guy didn't even cry. Well at least not until the end but for a 1 year old he did great. Sal gave Leo an amazing haircut and was so patient and professional. When I tipped him he told me I was giving him too much we finally agreed on an acceptable tip and me and my little guy left as happy campers. I'm so happy to have found Sal and am looking forward to bringing my little guy here as he grows through the years.
If you are needing a haircut, I couldn’t recommend this shop more! 10/10 service, attention to detail, and a very kind owner puts this shop at a higher tier than most.

My new go to for kids haircut . I was so pleasantly surprised by this establishment. Skilled stylist and Barber . They also offer skin care treatments, hair coloring and hair replacement. The gentleman who greeted us was very welcoming and courteous.The stylist who cut my boys hair was definitely skilled and did a great job . They have a beautiful fish tank and some cool turtles. My twin boys loved it ! They even got to feed the fish ?. Highly recommend them , and they are open 7 days a week. You will not be disappointed.

I came to this location to get box braids. Originally I thought it would be at the location by Whittier College, but I had to go a little ways down the street to the newer location which is a house in the area. Was a little wary at first, but that quickly changed. When I arrived was greeted with friendly faces. Invited me to the back where a sitting area resides and a lovely little fountain pool. Hope you aren't scared of big doggies and trust you don't have to be. The dogs were so cute and polite. I love pets so this wasn't an issue for me. I didn't wait long. I minute later I was greeted inside the house just a door away to her salon area in the home. I was impressed with the presentation as it resembled a professional salon. I sat down in the once again professional style salon chair and me and her had the best chat as she promptly started the timer to make sure she was charging appropriately. She was SUPER quick. Time flew by like it was nothing. She even explained how I should take care of my box braids for long lasting effects and gave me hair tips. Side note. Thanks for recommending Brick House Pizza. I went afterwards and it was delicious! Happy with how they turned out and loved the visit. Will definitely consider again!

i usually never leave a comment but nme and my bf went there for a pedicure and got the luxury pedi. it was THE BEST. we had a great time and they did a great job perfect service. i cant stop looking at my toes. worth every penny. great job, great place. inside was also really nicely remodeled.
The best place. As a man I had never come to a place where I felt so confident. I feel so happy because they were able to remove the ingrown toenails that I had for a long time. It didn't hurt me at all. And finally my nail is growing normally, they helped me prevent the fungus from getting worse. This is my place to take care of my nails and I recommend it to anyone. They are so professional and take such good care of you.

I've been having a hard time finding a nail place and decided to give this one a try and I really loved it. They don't have massage chairs like most nail places do and honestly that's fine with me I always turn mine off anyway. I think they do a dry pedicure? But they do wash your feet, it was definitely different but I didn't hate it. They also have really cute aesthetic colors which I loved. Overall service was great they were so nice and I love how my mani and pedi came out. Thank you!
5 star review! I got gel x nails done 5 days ago by a friend who is a nail tech but I wasn’t thrilled. I sat with it and reached out to my friend if she could fix them since some of the designs came off but she didn’t have time. So I looked up a nail salon near me and found Mindy’s. I walked in and explained my nail situation, they were willing to remove the design and redo a design on the gel x nails I already had but I decided they remove the whole set entirely. They were so sweet and Talia’s work is just what I wanted before my trip tomorrow. Thank you!!!
I’ve been going to Serena since early 2019 and it has completely changed my life! She puts so much time and effort into her work that they always come out perfect! She listens to your ideas and brings them to life. They last me at least 4 weeks but most of the time 6-8 weeks. And while you’re in her studio she makes you feel at home. I would recommend Serena Studio Ink to everyone looking to upgrade their nail appointment experience!

I didn't really know what color I wanted when I walked in. I thought I wanted chrome or cat eye, but I knew I wanted some thing purple and cute. The nail technician helped me pick the perfect purple for this look... I went in for a fill and almond Shaping and I was in and out in one hour. The price is very affordable as well for my nail length. They also have plenty of parking and very relaxing music.

It's so relaxing to come here. The ladies are so sweet, and will remember you even if you move away for a few years and come back like I did. When I moved back to Whittier, I stopped coming here because they're always busy and an appointment is strongly recommended. I don't normally know when I'll have time to get my nails done, so I opted for a place that took more walk-ins, and they ended up ruining my nails. So I came back to Joy Nail and two mani/pedis later, my nails feel strong again. My gel mani also lasted a month! They have so many good quality colors to choose from and they're always so sweet, prioritizing your relaxation. I won't stray again!

I have been going to Morphyourself for a few years now. I originally chose it based on its name and its location. I have stayed because of (the name...lol) and my amazing eyelash tech- Jordyn. She is awesome. She is meticulous in her attention to detail of every single lash extension that she applies. She knows & discusses different types of styles that would look pleasing to your eyes. Her work is great. I am always getting compliments on my lashes. If that is followed by "Who does your lashes", I am quick to refer them right over to Jordyn, and stand behind that choice. Also, Jordyn is funny, kind with a great laugh. I enjoy our 2 week sessions. I am always curious to hear what type of tunes are quietly playing in the background. I like that the vibe constantly changes via the music. Let me not forget to rave about the spa table the you get to lay on!! It is heated and has a vibration feature. Which is great for tension. Talk about relaxation. Conversation is welcome or you can just sleep! It's a great little place with an amazing eyelash guru....I can't recommended it enough. Kim does an amazing job on my eyebrows. I have thick eyebrows, and it's hard to find someone who doesn't leave them thin. She leaves them perfect every time. I get eyebrows and tint done. There's also a variety of other beauty services at her location.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP: I was recommended this nail salon and this is my second time coming here. Christina, the owner, is caring and super informative. I have pretty bad nail damage from other Whittier nail salons where I get gel. The other nail salons make a habit of using an electric mail drill to take off the gel polish, which thins out your nail. Christina took the time to wrap all of my nails, and gently took it off to minimize damage to my natural nails. It takes longer yes, but it is worth it in the long run since I’m looking to have strong natural long nails. If that’s what you want, she’s the person for it! Great experience.

Been coming here for years. The atmosphere is always welcoming, unlike other shops, where you feel like an outsider. The atmosphere, conversation and vibe of the shop are very important to me. I’ve been to other shops where I felt very uncomfortable and I did not return. I’ve never had that issue with this shop. The shop is always clean and sanitized, with music playing to distract you from the pain! Ruben is always agreeable and open to any and all suggestions I’ve had regarding my tattoos, but will give his artistic input in order to make the tattoo work on the part of my body getting tattooed. We called Elite to come out and snake our main sewer lines since we have a reoccurring root infiltration issue.They were able to send out a plumber same day, unfortunately he was not the most experienced fellow and did not help our situation at all (I'll leave it at that).The same night we spoke to Elijah who scheduled a technician to come out the following day. Richard showed up on time and was able to quickly clean out our pipes and get things flowing again using his hydro jet system. He was highly knowledgeable and thorough, even gave us a good price on the service.He took the extra time to explain every possible detail along the way and provided recommendations for moving forward with repairing our old pipes.I'm so pleased to have been graced with Richard (and his assistant Vincent) to properly and professionally handle the job.I look forward to working with him for our future plumbing projects and as our main technician. I had a leak from a toilet sewer line and thought it might be an under slab leak so called Draniacs Plumbing since they handle trenchless repair. They were able to quickly come out to evaluate and ran a camera probe through the cleanout and discovered problem was actually a split pipe on outside wall and not in or under slab. Scheduled the repair for the next day and the technician was very good at containing the mess caused by cutting out stucco and did a great job on the repair with minimal damage to walls, particularly the interior walls and cabinets. Next day the crew that I arranged through Drainiacs came out to repair the stucco wall and looks great. I was very pleased with Drainiacs' professionalism, their extra effort to minimize the damage and mess caused by repair, and the clean up afterwards, and their friendly workers. Would use them again.

I needed several light fixtures in my home changed out and was a little bit worried how quickly any company would come out since I knew this would be considered a smaller job. I chose ROC Electric due to all the positive reviews. The owner of ROC, Fernando, answered when I called. He was friendly, emailed me a quote and we scheduled a service call the next day. He texted the evening before and asked for a few pictures--old fixtures, new ones--and for a little info on where in house it was being replaced. I appreciated the professionalism and care that he took in doing this. One of the fixtures was going on a super high ceiling so he was able to come prepared. On the day of service, Fernando texted me and kept me appraised of his ETA, came during the scheduled two hour window and he got the job done excellently! My Oreck upright hadn't had a tune up in about 7 years. It was working well but it was hard to push, even through low pile carpeting. I looked on Yelp and saw that Whittier Small Appliance and Vacuum Repair also repairs lamps so I could get two repairs done at the same location. The technician that helped me was very friendly and gave me a quote for the lamp repair and he said that he would call me with a quote for the vacuum tune up after an inspection. I got a call with a very fair price quote for the vacuum a couple of hours later. By the next day both items were done and ready for pick up. The lamp works again and the vacuum glides more easily over carpet. I highly recommend this business for appliance and vacuum repair. Their prices are reasonable and the work is done quickly. Very friendly service.

The service provided by Integrity Cleaning was exceptional! I have 2 golden retrievers who had tracked in dirt and had also left some doggy stains. If you want a quality, honest and affordable price for any type of deep cleaning for your floors, then Master’s carpet cleaning is the way to go. I had nightmare tenants rent out the 2nd/3rd bedrooms in my home and they allowed their dog to pee wherever it wanted on the laminate flooring; it caused the urine to seep in between the individual boards so no amount of mopping would get rid of the odor. Also, they allowed their cat to spray all over both bedrooms carpet flooring and closet; let’s just say the smell was unbearable not to mention the horrible staining on the carpet. I was convinced that the flooring throughout our house would need to be replaced but thanks to Master’s carpet cleaning we were able to get the bedroom carpets steam cleaned and the laminate flooring deep cleaned that now no odor/stains are left behind. I went to my appointment with a lot of pain and The front staff Elba and Sylvia made me feel very welcome and assured me that I was gonna get good taken care of with Dr .Great thing is dr speaks English and Spanish she made me feel really happy when she said she will make sure to do whatever she can to save my teeth . I explained to dr that another office had diagnosed me with a complete denture . After looking at my X-rays dr assured me that I would still have a great smile and will take care of me by saving my teeth. Not only that but the back office help me relax by attending me and checking up on me to see if I was ok . I already set up my next appointment to continue treatment . My parents came here when I was young and I continue to come here. Dr Christensen is the ONLY person I let crack my neck. He is genuine guy that cares about his patients and their health. Not only has he done my adjustments for the last 15 years he has aided me in recovery from extensive sports injuries that required more attentive therapy. I always enjoy coming to the office and being greeted by his friendly receptionist and staff. After a good adjustment I leave feeling better than I walked in.

Highly recommended, I had been struggling horribly with pain from a radical hysterectomy with cancer. Nobody gave me the stats, or any REAL information. I was still processing before my procedure. Hubby was so concerned about losing me that he just told the doctor's to do it. That was the beginning of a whole other layer of hell. The pain was so extremely high and just horrible that I often wished for death. My husband found this place while getting treated for an injury at work. He knew I was desperate. First we paid to have the massage, OMG she was fabulous!! After that I seen the doctor and he made a few adjustments only in ways that would not be considered a problem for my own workers comp. After the adjustments, he used this laser therapy and I can't believe the difference for me pain wise. I used to call the pain bump area my alien, after the movie. My pain did not magically go away but dear God it has made a very positive impact on my pain and I'm no longer wishing for death. This doctor office has literally been a blessing for me.

I came in hurting and feeling super discouraged by the pain and poor posture from my pain. The treatment I received was a medical massage it’s intensive like it hurts but you know your body needs it. Just breathe and focus on healing the parts of your body that are stuck. I enjoy d the treatment and I left standing taller and felt relief instantly. I did feel sore and bruised for a few days but it’s expected knowing Adam that irked out so much tension and nots . I feel amazing not sure if I need to come back but I feel good and should I feel I need a massage I’ll def come back to see Adam . Thanks Adam for a great healing treatment

Manny knows his stuff. Went in there cause I was having trouble with losing feeling in my legs and sharp pain on my left buttocks. Came out feeling light and loose. Felt soar the next day which Manny warned me about but overall I thought he did an awesome job and will definitely be going back!

Every time I've had to speak to Jacky at the office, she's had a bad attitude speaking to me and I don't know what her problem is. I used to live in Whittier and when I moved to Hollywood and tried rescheduling my driving lesson, she just kept saying "we don't service that area" instead of just telling me from the beginning what areas they do service. One day I called while I was at work to reschedule my lesson and she asked me what my permit number was and I asked, "don't you have that information already? I've already taken a lesson with you guys." and she just ignored me and said "what's your permit number?" to which I said "I don't have it on me at the moment" and so she said to call her back when I do have it. I ended up calling back but spoke to a man instead and he didn't even ask me for my permit number and he was friendly and helped me reschedule. Then I called to request a change in my pickup and drop off location and Jacky answered the phone. I told her that I was supposed to get picked up from Pico Rivera but I want to change the pickup and drop off to Whittier. She said I'm supposed to get picked up from Pico Rivera which was what I literally just said and finally she changed it for me. Overall, I have enjoyed my lessons with Cindy, she's very attentive and patient. It's just a pain having to talk to Jacky on the phone and it makes me not want to deal with this business again just because of her.
