“Winston completed a two week board and train with Bark Collective. I can’t express enough how much I appreciate the Bark Collective team for taking on Winston. He is not any easy dog - trash eater, aggressive, stubborn, reactive. Winston’s world was restricted because of the aforementioned but due to Casandra and the other Bark Collective trainers, they have made Winston’s world bigger where he can explore and live a happy dog life. Since Winston has been home, we have successfully gone to parks with different landscapes (rocks, sand, wood chips) and surroundings (dogs, bikes, runners), and he has not exhibited any behavioral issues. We are excited to keep taking him to different places and reinforcing what Casandra has taught us. “I have been working with Jenny to train my dog for the past 10 months and she is incredible! After several attempts with other trainers I finally found one that really helped me train my dog. I went from having an anxious velcro dog to a well regulated dog with good behavior and better socialization. He stopped jumping and barking at people, counter surfing and doesn’t pull on walks. “Our 5 month baby Shenzi did a 2 week board and train with Lori and her team and I have to say the level of professionalism was top notch. We received daily photo and video updates on her progress and a clean off-boarding process to train us (as the parents) on how to continue the training at home. John was extremely helpful and clearly educated in dog training. He gave us clear and concise instructions which were very easy for us to implement. Thank you again John.

As for Shenzi’s progress, there is a VERY noticeable difference. She now understands basic commands - which are vital to break some of her difficult habits, such as barking at people/dog passerby’s. And while we haven’t broken that yet, I’m confident that with tools Pawsitive gave us, she’ll learn in no time.
She is also much better at home, much calmer and easier to handle. She seemed to break the puppy “rambunctiousness” while she was boarded. And bonus points that she seems to be house broken now!

Also more bonus points, they picked up and dropped off Shenzi all the way to us in Santa Monica!

“I cannot say enough good things about the two-week dog boarding/training we sent our 15-month-old pup to! Before the training, she was full of energy, pulling on the leash during walks, and had trouble consistently listening to basic commands. When she returned, it was like a transformation! She is now incredibly well-behaved, responds to commands immediately, and our walks have become a joy—no more pulling on the leash or jumping at other dogs.

The trainers clearly put a lot of care, effort, and expertise into their work, and even sent me update videos on how she was doing. It was such a relief knowing she was in great hands during her time away, and we’ve already noticed how much calmer and happier she seems with her new skills.

“I really do recommend this place mostly with anyone that has bunnies. My little girl been sick for a while wasn’t sure what was wrong with her found out since she in the older stage rabbits usually get unbelievably sick. & in the bill in the end wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. I needed an affordable place & found one. The only thing that was bit on the pricey side was the X-ray which made sense. Dr called in next two days to check up how my girl was doing & to give me updates on the X-ray. Recommend if she still needs medication to come back & refill them. I’m absolutely coming back with my other bunnies for a check up as well for them ??????“

“My husband first found Sit Means Sit from walking by the Huntington Beach location. He then looked them up online and saw all the rave reviews. Making an orientation appointment for our 6wk old Malinois/Shepherd/Husky mix puppy was quick and easy. We met with JD who was personable, kind, and informative. With our dog being so young he suggested she attend the puppy class that was for free on Saturday mornings from 9-10a until she was older and able to train. We attended that class for about 10 weeks and decided that she responded to the center and trainers so well and we were ready to sign up. We were able to request Chris a trainer that we had met a few times in puppy class. We really loved his training style and his love for the puppies. We decided to do the board and train and Chris gave us video and text updates throughout the process. When he brought her back to us she was more grown up and listened so well. She still had her loving sassy personality and was eager to obey. We are so pleased with our experience so far and are eager to see what else our Harley can learn.
