The yards are wonderful, the staff, loving, 'dog' educated, a trainer on staff, and all have one thing in common, they unconditionally love dogs. We have been fortunate to know the owner John and all staff. Training, day camp, overnight boarding, exercise, puzzles, water play, LDI has it all. Most importantly, they also teach the pup while there how to be a better dog, and since we have 2 rescue dogs from Central Mexico, one of whom is blind, and now 1.5 yrs of age, he can get frustrated easily. Spartacus plays with sighted dogs and does very well, though when he starts getting 'upset' staff is there to redirect, and help him through his ordeal. Our other dog, Hercules has gone to LDI since he was 4.5 months old. He is now 2 yrs old! Since the new management we have notice significant improvements with the facility, staff, and training. We just rescued our second puppy Scout and he just started puppy pre school and will continue his training at the Zoom Room. “So yes, i do miss Golden spoon with their train themes and actual plastic golden spoons. But the woman informed me its the same exact yogurt & they pile it high all the same! Definitely hard to find considering google maps didn't know their name has changed but I will be back for more! their flavors taste so good. Peanut butter and pistachio are a must!“

“Xaviera was extremely helpful with our 4 month old puppy. She came to our house and showed us what to do about every problem we were having. She is very knowledgeable, professional and thorough. We went from discouraged to encouraged. I learned a lot of techniques and tricks from Xaviera that I didn’t know before. I took her dog training course through Simi Valley Recreation and Parks and it was excellent as well. She stays after class to answer questions. She is easy to understand and follow. I think she would be helpful to anyone whether beginner or advanced. It is obvious she has been doing this for a long time. I highly recommend.“

“We took a puppy class with Barb and found it to be a wonderful socializing experience for our young Australian Cattle Dog puppy. Barb's approach consists of completely positive reinforcement which makes it fun for the pup and the owner while building a relationship between dog and owner. The pup will learn many useful obedience commands and build confidence by learning. She is passionate about dog training and has a genuine love of animals and people. She makes the experience fun for all with her positive energy and patience. We have had Barb come to our home for some additional one -on- one training with our puppy which has proved very helpful because Barb could evaluate specific issues we were dealing with and also observe our older dog and pup interact. She was able to provide us with valuable insight into steps we could take to correct certain behaviors. Barb is really fantastic and you and your dog will both be happy with the results.“

“Great little place! They treat my old pet very well, she is 16! They take in the old pets early to ease them from stress, my girl is in and out and always looks beautiful with her little bows. My younger pet goes there too and loves it.“

Also They give me a same day appointment, when I did arrive I did come 30min earlier but I had to wait only 5 min the dr see me. They really care about you and your pet . “The Rattlesnake avoidance class was awesome! It was great to see our dog learn to avoid sight,smell, or sound of the Rattlesnake. He wouldn't get within 10ft of a snake now.“

“I have been coming to CVVH for probably 3 years. My small dog ended up having many issues and had to be brought in and stayed for days for pancreatitis. It ended up to be chronic and all the help and support made it much easier for me to navigate thru to a new normal.Then it came time when my dog was ready to lay her head down for the last time. My feelings over the situation was taken to heart by all Dr Kane and the rest of the staff and I was supported in my decision when to say goodbye.I am excited to start afresh with a familiar medical team to care for my new puppy for years to come.As for prices. I am sure you can find cheaper. But there are places that are astronomically more as well. I find the pricing fair and upfront. I was even charged too much for something and at a future visit I was told I had a credit so my current bill would be less (it happened twice and it was not much … around $9 once and I think $20 the other time … but it was much appreciated)“

“My dogs are very high spirited & the staff at Doggy Den can handle them. Fortunately,They play well with other dogs so boarding works out well for us. We can go on long vacations and know that our dogs are safe and well cared for… Anne did training with them years ago & we were very happy with the results.“

“Thankful we found this place. We adopted 2 terriers from the shelter a year ago and they were very traumatized by a hoarding situation for 4 years with severe neglect. All the staff at Bark n rec have helped us tremendously.. I cannot say enough.my dogs are not easy but these ladies are amazing. Rebecca did training and socializing while we traveled for 2 weeks and she's a miracle worker and really cares.“
