Great place to improve public speaking. I love the atmosphere--everyone has such a good attitude and comes ready to learn. I also recommend this club if you need to enhance your leadership skills and your ability to work with others.

They are located at the LAPD Ahmanson Recruit Training Center, 5651 W Manchester Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90045. Meetings are on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of the month, 6.30 pm - 8.00 pm. Great club to be in for improving your public speaking skills. There are many members here who are seasoned, knowledgeable and enthusiastic speakers. The environment is very supportive and the toastmaster format provides improvement and practice for speakers at all levels from beginners to professional speakers. There are functionary roles for beginners and the more experienced members demonstrate how meetings are conducted and offer advice and help when needed. Practical experience on speaking here, not just listening to a lecturer. Cost is very nominal since this is a non-profit. Highly recommended for all skill levels. Toastmaster meeting format make accommodations for all skill levels.
