I have Milgard Windows. I would give them a no start but I cannot. I called them and they said the warranty was no good as it was not transferable from who I bought the home from and they type of windows that were installed. All of my windows have a purple discoloration and they all have to be replaced which is going to cost me ten of thousands of dollars at there are about 30 windows that aren't even 10 years old. They look absolutely horrible. Milgard was of no help and good luck getting in touch with them.

I regret installing Milgard windows on my new custom build. The customer service is the absolute worst and I dread calling them. I have had 4 windows that have leaked over the years. It takes at least 3-4 months to get anyone out to look at them. The last time they fixed my leaky window, it still leaks water and they said because the technician said it was fixed, the warranty is closed. I have had my wood window sill and wood floors damaged because of water damage when it rains. This is the first review I have ever left on yelp because I am beyond frustrated.

This review is for their warranty service, which appears to be meaningless. I installed a large (5/0 x 5/0) fixed picture window 18 months ago. When it arrived, we realized that there was some type of foam stuck between the two panes of glass that was really visible. I immediately contacted customer service and was told that they would have technicians out to replace it. They just canceled FOR THE FOURTH TIME, this time ten minutes before they were due to arrive and less than twelve hours after they called to confirm. Every time they say there was a problem with the replacement glass. Clearly they are hoping we will give up. I am a general contractor and may stop using Milgard.
