We love Christine! She has really helped us with our dog's reactivity toward other dogs and people, as well as her overall impulse control. Christine is knowledgable and realistic about dog behavior. She is a balanced trainer, and I think this is the approach that works best for most people and dogs. My favorite thing about her business is that she has other dogs on site, allowing us to safely and carefully socialize our dog in a controlled setting. She takes it slowly and never puts any dog at risk. So whether your dog is a social butterfly, is fearful with dogs, or can't hold it together when they see another dog, she has the right set up to help your dog improve. I came to her after having owned and fostered many dogs, and I have had a good amount of experience with training dogs with positive reinforcement, but our newest dog companion was giving me some challenges that I didn't want to try to address on my own. She was reactive with both people and dogs, and her behavior was getting more intense. Christine, in 2 months, helped turn us around and gave us the tools so that I could enjoy walking and jogging with our dog again. She was able to spot mistakes I was making that I couldn't see myself because I was getting so stressed by our dog's reactivity. Her help has also inspired me to keep learning and working with our dog, because training is a lifelong process. I would recommend Christine to anyone and everyone who is willing to put in the work. She can't fix your dog all on her own, but she can certainly give you the tools you need to have a happy canine companion---and that is the best you can hope for with any trainer.
