“I highly recommend studying with Ted. Ted's musicianship is unparalleled (check out his Ellington CD!), and his teaching matches that. He takes things that are very complicated and turns them into something much more digestible. It's so worth it; I've improved so much. Thank you Ted!“

She is so knowledgeable in the technical aspects of the voice and has helped me overcome an issue I've struggled with my entire life as a singer. I have brought this issue to multiple other teachers and no one was able to help me before Kira. She has changed my voice and I am forever grateful!“
“I am an adult student that has been taking lessons from Ann for about four years. Full disclosure, I played through elementary junior high and high school and then stopped for 40 years. Ann has an amazing knowledge of classical music, is an accomplished musician, and has been teaching for many years. She is very passionate and dedicates herself seriously to her students. Her method of teaching is very understandable, and often shares golden nuggets of wisdom from her experience as a violinist .Under Ann's tutelage, I have far exceeded my skills in high school, I play in two community orchestras and a chamber group. Thank you Ann ,you are the best!“

“I have been taking guitar and voice classes at the Hollywood Academy since 2020, when I picked up music as a COVID hobby. Starting off online, I was skeptical about what would come out of my music lessons but the patience of my instructors, Andrew and Selena, put me at ease. Fast forward two years, my classes are the highlight of my week! The staff here are courteous, friendly, and just create a really positive vibe in the space - starting from the front desk that has never been anything less than amazeballs, to my teachers who are not just great teachers, but insanely talented musicians. The school itself has always been flexible with me regarding scheduling and I’ve aways been able to receive make ups (when I ask to reschedule my class on time). I am currently writing my own song with Selena and so can’t wait to record it. Pro tip for anyone considering the school - they have their own recording space that you can use during class to actually record what you’re working on and learn the most important tools too. Beyond grateful to everyone here for the fantastic work they do and for giving me a new amazing hobby which has turned into a passion.“

3621 Cahuenga Blvd, Los Angeles“I first went to Performance Guitar when I was a teenager back in the early 1980s. They were on Yucca Street in Hollywood at the time. Even back then, Kenny already had big name clients like Frank Zappa, Steve Vai, and Warren De Martini. Later, he would do custom work for Joe Walsh and Warren Cuccurullo, among many others. In 2021, I brought in my Fender American Deluxe Stratocaster for a setup and fret dress and my Fender American Fretless Jazz Bass for its first setup. Kenny did a great job with both guitars. His attention to detail is unmatched. There is nobody else who works on Fenders like Kenny. He worked alongside Leo Fender at Fender for many years back in the day, so he knows his stuff. Kenny's own line of hand-made custom guitars are highly regarded. Highly recommended.“

2636 N Ontario St, Burbank“I had an initial bad experience with a new Shure SM7dB microphone I purchased, which got stuck to a new boom arm on it's first use. I was stressed about it for over a week with no resolution on the many options I tried. But then Don Spacht from the Vintage King LA Showroom stepped in and gave me a call. They ended up refunding me the cost of the service repair to get the mic fixed with Shure and that level of customer service was geniunely appreciated. Thank you again Don and Vintage King for helping me out!“
