My parents, my kids, and I have been coming to Lilly for about 2-3 years now. She's great with all ages, very personable, flexible, and professional. She's at a new location now: Phenix (not a typo) Salon Suites Suite #128 in West Covina near Edwards and the Colony Apartments. There's street parking and parking in private lots across the street. She takes cash and card. Speaks Spanish and English.

My partner and I had a very pleasant experience with Lilly on Saturday. She asked a lot of questions and made sure what we wanted our haircuts to be like. She even suggested going longer and then taking off more since you can't put hair back. I highly appreciated this as I have had haircuts before where we just went straight to cutting a certain length and it was too short and you couldn't do anything at that point. She listened to all my questions about hair, haircare, and even specifics related to when one has a skin condition on the scalp. I felt more comfortable talking than I usually do while getting my hair cut. Usually I'm quite nervous and don't say as much, but the atmosphere was quite pleasant. I was also relieved having our baby in the stroller wasn't an issue as we have come to experience and realize that many places (restaurants, etc.) don't always take well to strollers and even don't allow them. Despite being a bit late, from the moment we stepped in we were greeted with only good customer service. Something that really stood out to me is that somehow she brought back my front hair shwoop! My bangs have a shape they naturally take which had somehow disappeared with my last few haircuts at a different place not in this area. Not sure if it was the cut or due to pregnancy's effects on hair. But I was so happy to see it again! My hair felt so nice after being cut and I just felt more like me again. I hadn't gotten a haircut since last September, so I finally got to look in the mirror and see me again. I was also really excited that my partner's hair looked great from the get-go, as our past experiences elsewhere had been that it wouldn't look as good until a day or two later. Lilly takes many different types of payment forms which makes it very easy to pay. I felt like the price was appropriate for what we were getting. The wash at the end felt so luxurious. As someone with a three month old baby, I think I would've fallen asleep if the wash went on any longer with how good it felt. It felt so nice to feel clean immediately following the haircut, as I'm used to having to go home and shower after to get clean after a haircut. Really felt pampered. Overall, just really happy with how both of our haircuts turned out and how great the customer service is. Would suggest anyone come get their haircuts here and I'm excited for the future when our baby girl Lily (!) gets to have her first haircut.
