Had an issue with my computer and made an appointment to have a Geek Squad tech to look for malware and other issues. Tech Raymond got the ball rolling and had my computer checked in. Came back a couple days later to pick up my computer which had antivirus software installed. Tech Raymond helped me install antivirus on cellphone and tablet. Very happy with Geek Squads service.
I had an appointment to replace my phone screen, and when I got there, there was only one associate helping a customer. I thought I'm they're short staff, whatever I got in line. That wasn't what agitated me, it was the not acknowledging there's a customer no "we'll be right with you" nothing. Earlier in the day after scheduling my appt online , I called to ask a few questions main one : if it would take long to fix my phone. I couldn't leave my phone for over an hour so had they greeted me and asked 'how can we help you' if they would've given me an ETA I could've chosen to leave or stay. Then 15 min later an associate walks over to another customer behind me to assist with a screen replacement from what I overheard , this associate SKIPS me to assist the customer. Not even asking what I needed help with. Again... GREET. ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR CUSTOMERS. 35 min later ..still nothing. 3 associates have come and gone into the work area. I'm not all familiar with how Best Buy goes about customers but , it's customer service? You'd think they at least acknowledge their customers!?. DANIEL YOURE AWESOME thank you for acknowledging the line, asking each of us, before you left for the day might I add, how you can help us ! Honestly his customer service was the only reason why I didn't give ONE star. Oh and Daniel explained how it would be 2-3 hrs, so my happy ass left and rescheduled :) Sssssee what I mean lol 45 min of waiting, only to reschedule ! SMH.
I went in with a scheduled appointment to fix my cracked screen. I wasn't aware my apple care plan had expired and I was going to have to pay close to $200. Luckily, Edgar helped me out and before charging me called t-mobile and helped me file a claim. That saved me almost $100. I know he didn't have to do that. He could've easily charged me and sent me on my way. He really went above and beyond to help me.
