Had no heat for over a year because a business I called then said that it is too old, not worth repairing, and charging us over 10K for a new system. Looking around this year I settled on Air Now for help and so grateful for it. Ray assessed the issue, diagnosed the problem, told me that the unit is old but repairable, bought a new piece, and installed it at a reasonable price. He did not try to convince me on selling me something like the other business. Honest and knowledgable technician worth your consideration. Will contact him again should I have another problem.
I had some work done by them, and was very satisfied with the job. He tried the lower cost fix first, and when that didn't work he diagnosed the problem quickly, and discounted the final fix by giving half credit for the cheaper initial fix attempt (which was nice and fair). My HVAC system ended up needing a new compressor, and he was able to help me get a warranty replacement since my unit was still within the warranty period. Ended up saving me $1300, which again was nice! Getting the refund from Ferguson (local supplier for Trane products) was a pain and took forever, but that's not on Air Now. Highly recommend.
I can not recommend enough! Called after-hours for a small issue, thinking no one would help.... well, I was wrong. Super, incredibly kind... knowledgeable... and within 15 minutes, my issue was fixed.
