I've been coming to Elevate for almost 3 years now because Cameron does an amazing job every time. This dude seriously has an eye for detail and has no problem taking his time to make sure the cut is perfect. I've been hesitant on making a review for selfish reasons. He's so damn good at what he does, if I start telling everyone, it'll be hard for me to get an appointment. But of course I can't keep this a secret, that wouldn't be right. So here it is Covina, the best cut you can get. And apparently the other barbers here at Elevate are also really good according to the reviews but Cam is the only dude I'll allow to cut my hair in this whole city.
Was referred to Rudy by a friend and SHEESH! He absolutely killed my haircut! Truly a consultative experience where he made sure to get the absolute best look my hair could be. I love Kathy! Sometimes, she can appear to be in a hurry, but she means well! She's so reasonable, and she takes pride in her work. I heard there are people that want her to cut their hair, and her prices are extremely competitive, and still, they don't even leave a tip! NOTHING! I guess some people want their cake and want not only to eat it but to have her feed them. IT'S SAD!

This time, when kiddo's hair grew long enough to reach his eyes, we came here for his first haircut outside the house. Victor is a wizard. Our toddler didn't cry once and loved his result, as did we. Best nail salon ever ! I've been coming to Azusa nail bar for 6 months. Bryan is the best he's always open to try any crazy design I want on my nails . And they always come out perfect .I also can't forget Jenny she's always so sweet and welcoming and did I mention they offer free drinks and snacks. Give Azusa nail bar a shot . You won't regret it .
I came in for the first time today & will definitely be coming back again! Crystal took care of my nails & Sue took care of my toes. The interior is clean and cute. The massage chairs added to the experience & I am overall very satisfied with my service. I spent $130 (minus tip) for a gel pedicure & gel X nails with chrome polish. It's more than I've spent at other spots but I honestly think it's worth it! Also, if you forget cash tip like I did, no worries as they have everyone's QR code for Zelle at the register so you can send a tip over to your manicurist!

The owner has hospitality that makes your customer experience A+. Tammy is superb, her attention to detail and what you like is the reason I am a client of 8 years. If you don’t need it she will tell you, instead of tapping out your pockets. She doesn’t do all that crazy up selling that alot of nail bars do. Thanks to Yelp comments below I found my barber from 'Family Barber', Nina. She has moved to this location (a block away). The set up is partially a nail salon so it must be a little awkward if there was a full house however I come at later hours so its not a problem for me. Still the same 12 bucks which was great.

My nail lady was Jenny. I liked her. She is very fast and efficient. GET THE JOB DONE AT THE RIGHT AMOUNT OF TIME! IN AND OUT IN 30 MINUTES. NOT SURE ABOUT THE QUALITY OF THE POLISH THOUGH. THAT'S SOMETHING I WILL FIND OUT IN A FEW DAYS.

I love 3 Star Nail! I have a chronic ingrown nail problem on my left foot and if it wasn't for their skills and patience, I would have ended having the toe nail remmoved. This place is a hidden gem in West Covina! Needed a fill at home during spring break so I called on a whim Friday afternoon to walk in - got an answer right away, came in right away, and service was fast. It's a clean salon tucked in a lot with lots of parking. Vicky did a great and careful job on my nails! She was quick without hurting me and the shape of my nails turned out perfectly! I was out within the span of an hour and I'm very happy with them. When I'm back in town I'll definitely be back for a mani pedi.

An overdue 5-star review for my favorite nail salon and nail artist, Kathy. I go here religiously and nowhere else because of the quality and professionalism Exotic Nails holds highly. No longer do I have to worry about getting overfilled nails that don't compliment my skin tone, an infection from a cut, or feeling rushed and unwelcome from getting my nails done. Kathy is amazing and makes me feel like I'm home every time. She is careful in her craft and articulate, and always produces results that exceeds my expectations. I absolutely love every manicure full set I have ever gotten from her. My nails grow slowly and are extremely sensitive and brittle, but Kathy treats them gently and shapes them as well as strengthens them for proper growth. I usually get a Gel X set which is perfect for anyone who finds acrylics too harsh or strong on their nail beds. She's the one who suggested them for me and I can never go back to acrylics now! Kathy keeps the salon clean and tidy, and always uses a fresh sanitized set of utensils per session. I appreciate cleanliness because I've gotten infections from other places that neglected sanitizing. Also I always set an appointment for my nails which should be more common practice for small businesses post-CoVid. I love communicating with her what I would like for my nails because she adjusts it to be better than what I planned. She is incredibly patient and kind- A true master at what she does! She's really one in a million when it comes to nail salons in this area.

Oh my goodness I can't say enough how amazing my first experience here was I went for a full pedicure and a full set. The lady who did my toes was so amazing she went above and beyond with the massage and the foot detox it was so amazing. She did cut me when she did my toes but was very apologetic. The lady who did my nails was so amazing and paid attention to exactly what I asked for. I asked for curved nails and she did just that. The salon was very welcoming and inviting and they offered me something to drink. I will definitely be going back again. Prices were also very reasonable.

Based on yelp review, I booked an appointment for my daughter, I am so glad we did, not only is the place very affordable, but they were very pleasant and accommodating. They ask my daughter if she was ready to have the really short hair style in the photo she showed him before doing it. My daughter was very happy with the result and so do I and my husband, we end up asking him to do and my husband's hair too, without hesitation he accommodate us. We went home so happy with our new hair style, we found our family hair place, we are definitely coming back.

Always a good experience and hair color turn out of what you would expect and better. Lots of good food spots around to order from if you have a long hair process. Able to watch Netflix while your hair is processing. Helps makes time fly by. Definitely recommend coming here for you hair color, cut and style!

I have relocated twice since I’ve been going to him, and I will continue to come to him no matter how far away I am. It is well worth even the longest drive. Every time I go in, his kindness and warmth lift my spirits & I leave feeling refreshed, and with beautifully perfect brows! He is a true master of his craft. Not to mention his prices are so affordable, especially with how meticulous he is in ensuring that you leave with brows that have been threaded to perfection. My skin looks healthier than is has in a long time. She educates you on the issues she sees and how to keep your skin healthy at home. She doesn't recommend unnecessary treatments or products if what you have at home is sufficient, rather she helps you understand how to get the most out of those products. Her shop is so cute, the facial room is calm and inviting, a perfect place to relax! I will definitely be back.

Pretty good massage- Linda was strong and knew the pressure points. I was nervous coming in at first because of the low ratings, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Interior seemed clean. Pleasant choice of music. Wonderful heating pad on bed. 4 stars instead of 5 because they use lotion instead of oil (own preference- I always prefer oil). Walk-ins welcome and credit card accepted. They need to claim their business on Yelp and fix their exterior sign- wouldn't have thought this business was open without the help of Yelp.

I can't say enough about how great our yard now looks. Jamescapes did a great job! James came out after I had received 2 other quotes. The other 2 were just going to do what I asked - put a bunch of gravel and some plants with a drip system on my front yard - left side. The yard slants down some and the grass was too hard to maintain. It was pretty ugly looking. I've included some before and after pictures.I wanted one more quote. James suggested another approach. He said gravel next to our large driveway with a few plants would look to plain. He suggested some rock formations with ground covering and plants - and for about the same price as the others had quoted - in fact he was less than one of them. I'm glad I agreed to go with James and his team. I had seen his pictures on other reviews and they all looked nice. They removed all the grass, removed older outdated plants, hauled it all away. They put down weed cover, re-arranged and updated the sprinklers, added rock formations with various size rocks, then plants, and ground covering and then a quality mulch blend (not home depot stuff). James is really creative with his designs and takes pride in his work. The day they were finishing, we left several hours before they were done, for a couple days. James wanted to come back in the evening to see how things looked lit up (we decided to go with nice brass lighting fixtures). He came back at night, took pictures and texted them to me. We liked his work so much, we decided to have him do a whole lot more of our yard. And he recently came back and added some more nice upgrades for us. Service was good, had to wait for a room to open up but they did so as fast as possible. Gina helped me with x-rays and was kind and efficient.

Dr. Gair was recommended to me by my chiropractor who has retired. Dr. Gair specializes in his laser treatment and orthotics that he created himself. Dr. Gair takes 30 minutes per session and I had to come back 3 times in order to treat my injury on my right foot and the soreness in my neck caused by one of his adjustments. I bought a pair of his orthotics where he needed to get my feet scanned by his machine to make sure they were a good fit for mechanics of my feet. They were very expensive, but they have been more durable than store bought ones and other chiropractor created ones that I've had. It's been two months now and so far so good. I'm noticing more improvements with the way that my feet and ankle are moving. Office staff and Dr. Gair are very nice. I recommend going through the website to make an appointment. You'll get reminder texts on your phone and texting that number seems to be the quickest way to get in contact with them. Note: it's not the number you see on Yelp. They also sell package deals for the sessions. See the receptionist for details. They're only open during the weekdays from Monday to Thursday due to Dr. Gair's schedule. They're located in the second floor. They have a key for the restroom that's located in a different office.

Dr. Waleed A. with his remarkable knowledge and dedication to his work, patients and staff gave me the reason to find my bearing again after my car accident. He will listen to you, talk less but give you the treatment that fitsyour needs and healing process. I am glad I met a Dr.that is not bias and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you feel the need to soar to greater heights and get your life going. I don't have any set backs with Dr Waleed. He is the bridge that you will need to cross to forget about your injuries and pain.

I loved this clinic staffing are great but the bad side of this clinic though they dont put a note by the door if their open or not.Sometimes I have to go and drive to check if their open because you end up calling almost half a day not knowing their closed.Hopefully they fix that.
Great massage but I did get covid from here. I know because the lady coughed on my face and I very rarely ever leave my home.

Chris is super legit. I've tried many masseurs before and he's definitely one of the top. Strong hands and feet! He's not for those looking for soft touches. Totally breaks all the knots. Not a single minute is wasted. I always felt relieved and slept very well after his session. Highly recommend everyone to give him a try.

Pretty good massage- Linda was strong and knew the pressure points. I was nervous coming in at first because of the low ratings, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of service. Interior seemed clean. Pleasant choice of music. Wonderful heating pad on bed. 4 stars instead of 5 because they use lotion instead of oil (own preference- I always prefer oil). Walk-ins welcome and credit card accepted. They need to claim their business on Yelp and fix their exterior sign- wouldn't have thought this business was open without the help of Yelp.
Keep in mind you do pay for what you get, and your experience will vary on your masseuse/their mood that day, because that's what you get at cheap massage salons. Paid $60 (incl. tip) for a 60 minute massage. I would have tipped more but they asked for payment BEFORE the massage. Parking was not an issue. They also seem to be very flexible with walk ins, you can always call ahead to find out if there is a wait, they had no problem picking up my calls. They call a part timer to come in if they don't have availability, and they also ask if you prefer male/female masseuse at booking. They bring you to a room and they don't tell you, but if you got the oil massage, you strip down to just your undies and get under the sheet. I had a great experience here, def one of the better low end massages I've been to in a while. My masseuse was able to put good pressure consistently (I like more pressure) and though was running a business while giving me a massage, she did a great job. Touch on all of my knots. The 60 minutes included hot stones, which I was a big fan of here. Overall place wasn't sketchy, just older structure, the rooms are not full walls so you can hear other rooms which I expected. I'll be back if I'm ever in the area again!

Until I found this place. Let me tell you how much Dr. Joukar have help me with acupuncture. This is the only thing that helps me get back to normal. I feel better, I walk better and I can stand better. I highly recommend this place.

And for the spiritual who want to grow their extraordinary senses, he offers esoteric acupuncture (a kind of acupuncture that incorporates Taoism, Sacred Geometry, Chakras, Kabbalah theory) for chakra and energy field balancing. It's quite... profound. And he only charges $40 a visit for regulars!
