Kailukuan is a beautiful homage to indigenous Filipino culture emphasizing martial arts and healing arts. The owners are kind hearted and embody so much history passed on to them. They welcome everyone to experience and learn! There are virtual classes available for anyone to partake even around the world! There are also in-person classes at reasonable times to fit into your schedule and around work hours. Their website is easy to navigate and you can also just dial their number and speak to the owners directly! If you’re looking for a martial arts studio that teaches you the the physical and mental skills and also helps you heal? This may be the home you’re looking...read full review

Virgil is so great. I had the Ablon Medicine massage and it was a major game changer. I felt a lot of relieve and release from the session. I'm glad I got the membership. I highly recommend.

I had the great fortune of receiving an Ablon therapy session this afternoon. Virgil is intuitive and knew where I had the most tightness and pain. I feel much lighter and have more mobility. I can't wait for future sessions!

From Kailukuan - Filipino Martial Arts and Culture

Kailukuan Filipino School of Indigenous Science, Martial and Healing Arts was founded with the objective of preserving and propagating the combat and healing traditions from Northern Luzon, Philippines. We specialize in the Ilocano style of escrima/stick fighting/blade work, which up until now has been kept secret by many different families and lineages of North. Our philosophy is to build strength and body mechanics from the ground up and the core out. This is why our style begins with the use of Indian Clubs (Didya Mudgara) to create the strength and muscle memory needed to proficiently strike with sticks, wooden swords and blades as well as perform the body work techniques taught in our Traditional Manual Medicine Hilot Certification.
