I am getting harassed for bills that have been paid. Checks have been cashed but apparently they don't have the evidence. Now I have to call another number, get a copy of the check and send them proof. This is unacceptable. I have been battling this 30 dollar debt for 4 months. Now they are saying that a paid account will go to collections. Unreal!

John Muir has the worst billing practices imaginable. We keep getting harassed by them to pay bills that we paid over four months ago. They received the checks and cashed them, but then foist the responsibility on me to produce the cancelled checks they deposited to show that the bills were paid. I filed a complaint with the better business bureau and seriously am so pissed off at the tremendous waste of time. They have spent more time harassing me over paid bills than it would take to check their own damn bank records.

The facilities were good, and the service was also appropriate. However, I'm taking the time to write this review because I'm thoroughly discussed by their billing procedures. I was referred here by my OBGYN with a clear diagnosis. I was charged close to $400 for a 10-minute interview to confirm the prior diagnosis (with insurance). Had I known I was going to be charged this ridiculous amount I would have never agreed to it. I tried fighting these charges to no avail... To new potential clients: be very, very careful!!
