This review is inspired by tax season!!! yippee. Back in the day we used Pollock & Associates at the recommendation of a friend for few years, and then dropped them. They were the actual WORST. Stan Pollock is the guy in charge and he was rude from the very beginning. He was always too busy to return my husband's calls and emails. His emails were rude and abrupt... that is, when he bothered to reply. Often his emails made no sense, lots of broken sentences and half-finished ideas, and we didn't know what to do. Then we would randomly get charged for things, no itemized bills or anything like other companies send. When we would ask about details of our tax returns, for example items we could deduct, like our boat (can you deduct any boat costs??), we woudln't get any answers. Last year we switched to a new account and couldn't be happier. We actually get customer service now, like he and his assistant answer our calls and questions. Honestly if you're going to run a business, at least be nice to your customers. Aren't we the reason you have a business to begin with?? It's not hard. Just be polite. Answer questions. And hire an assistant if you have no time for customer service. Taxes are stressful enough as it is. Glad we switched. Happy almost April 15!!!
