Josh is amazing! For a solid year my lower back was frozen and my si joint all messed up. Within a couple of treatments he was able to release my lower back! I tried different physical therapists and they sucked... too slow and never addressed the real problem. Josh knew right away what to do and with minimal discomfort. (I always thought, the harder the massage the better- but I was totally wrong) He was able to release the muscles quickly with active release techniques. I am back rock climbing(I literally could not jump an inch off the ground... so bouldering was out of the question) and I am back to running 3 miles a day... and recently started dancing! I got my son who is big into soccer to see josh for a strained hamstring and next day he was fixed up! I got my mom to see Josh. She was having major vertigo/fainting problem tied with her bowel movements. She saw every doctor from head to toe and no one could figure it out. I finally told her to see Josh. She had spinal issues in both upper and lower back. After the first treatment we knew we were on the right path to get her well again. It's been two months and she no longer has fainting episodes with bowel movements, she is able to walk around the Neighbour hood with confidence. Her chronic neck spasms are gone! She even was able to climb one of moraga hills! (And she just turned 75). She got her youth and independence back! We are so grateful we found Josh! (FYI... I think this is my first yelp review!?!)

I push my body athletically and often need a little extra care and attention. I tore my calf muscle and was in desperate need to keep active and not give up on my training. The a care I receive has tremendously helped my recovery. I would highly recommend sports performance acupuncture.

I'm a lifelong athlete who's accumulated a variety of injuries with age. Most recently, I had a bad case of tennis elbow from hitting range balls off of driving range mats as well as recovering from Tenex surgery on my achilles tendon. After taking four months off from golf and not seeing any improvement in my tennis elbow, I began visiting Josh who has been able to dramatically reduce my tennis elbow pain via active release technique and acupuncture so that I'm now playing golf again. He's also been able to loosen my achilles post-surgery (to remove damaged tendons) as I rehab it. My tendon gets tight after each physical therapy/rehab session and Josh is able to get moving again pain free with much greater range of motion. Having played in the NFL, Josh has seen a variety of injuries and can quickly diagnose and recommend the best method to correct/repair them. I highly recommend him.
