It was my first visit to Dr. Liao for migraines that I've experienced most of my life and it was a very good experience. The doctor is obviously very knowledgeable, experienced, kind, as well as efficient. He explained why I was getting them and how to try to address them at home. I don't know if the acupuncture was effective, but time will tell. Unfortunately, he is closing his Walnut Creek office as of the end of 2022, but his Albany office will remain open.

Dr. Richard Liao is very professional and very knowledgeable. He explains all procedures well and even gives an excellent advice in regards to my health condition. My adult child used him and I thought his instructions and treatment were top notch I used him for an urgent care matter on sciatica He is a great acupuncturist who has trained others. He doesn't push the herbs but has them and he takes many insurances including Blue shield and MediCal. I've used both offices. Both good.
