Been going here since I was 14 (I’m now 28) and was never consistent with one provider as the ones I liked kept leaving. I’ve been seeing Linda Shui for the last several years - she’s okay, not my go-to, but I decided to stick with her because I was tired of changing providers almost every year. My last annual with her back in May was a horrible experience to say the least. After almost 15 years of being a patient here, I’m not coming back. Once I told Linda that I stopped taking the pill and want to try other ways to manage my PCOS, she became a completely different person. Staff works unwell as a team (as in, it seems like a common occurrence of a power trip in the medical field). Front desk staff was extremely professional and helpful & the assistant was kind. One of the midwives gave me false medical advice for preventative measures regarding pregnancy. They whispered it as I left. I felt extremely uncomfortable the way the "higher up" staff mistreated their coworkers as if it would not be audible behind a closed door. I will not choose to come back here if I were to consider birthing a child. I don't doubt that a pregnant woman would get adequate medical treatment and be safe. I left NYC 10 years ago and I kept going back every year for 5 years because my doctors were great over-there. When I decided to look for doctors in the Bay Area. I stumbled over John Muir obgyn in Walnut Creek. I'm so gratefully for this clinic. They are very Proffecionel and helpful. No bad experience. My doctor Dr. Nadine Hanna. This lady is truly amazing. She is very thoughtful, respectful and concerning. She listens with kind eyes. When I email her from my chart, I get response in more than a timely manor. She knows her stuff.
