I had a nagging, sharp shoulder pain - so terrible I could barely lift my arms. I tried my Chiropractor that did not help much. People in my network were always singing praises of Dr. Hatice and what she could do. I called her and asked her if she could see me the same day - understanding that I was in so much pain she invited me to her practice. She took all the mandated precautions for COVID. She was fully covered with PPE and took my temperature at the door. She has one patient policy during COVID so I waited for the earlier patient to leave and for the cleanup before I was allowed to enter. She spent over 45 mins to understand my problem and spent another hour during the treatment. She explained everything before and after to make sure i am 100% comfortable. I was able to lift my arms at the end of the session. Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who is also trained as a medical doctor. I visited her 2 more times and within one week of my session, the pain went from 10 to 1. She advised me on some exercises and also told me if I needed to go back so there was no pressure in continuing to see her unless needed. Dr. Hatice is a Traditional Chinese Medicine practitioner who is also trained as a medical doctor. Thank you so much Dr. Hatice for your kindness and being so thorough. I Highly recommend Dr. Hatice for any kind of shoulder pain.
I first went to Hatice Poroy in 2008 for insomnia. The various pharmaceutical solutions were just not working and having negative side effects. It was time for something new and acupuncture seemed as good idea as any. It took some time to find the right treatment and balance between treatments and herbs. Once we did, though, my insomnia went from a dominating hassle to a mild occasional irritation. While I continue to get maintenance treatments for my insomnia, I also see Hatice for just about any of my other aches, pains, and ailments. She does wonders for the things that ail me that traditional medical treatments have been unable to resolve. Hatice is a healer. She cares, listens, and empathizes. As an MD, she appreciates what “western medicine” can and cannot do. Her work supplements what it cannot replace.
Good practitioner. More effective for GERD than meds.
