“I called 4 gutter cleaning services (including this one) in the last week for my elderly moms home in San Ramon. She needed her gutters cleaned badly and she was nervous about getting any roof damage (since they have to go on the roof), and she also wanted to make sure the gutters were cleaned out really well- & that it wasn't a half a$$ job. After speaking with Howard Bass, the owner of House Prep, and asking him several questions, I felt that they would be the best choice for my moms house. They were booked out 2 weeks and I asked him to call me if they got a cancellation. I was so happy to get a call yesterday from Howard saying that there was a change in their schedule, and now his partner Jeffrey could do it that same day. Howard assured me Jeffrey was the best. He wasn't kidding! Jeffrey came, and not only was he the nicest guy ever, he did such an amazing job! He was so thorough in the cleaning and took us to the back and front yard & showed us what needed to be repaired on the gutters. He also showed us the moss that was growing on the roof and explained what we needed to do (we didn't even notice - even though there was a lot! ). He just went over and beyond and it didn't go unnoticed. My mom loved him so much and was so happy with such great service from him she gave him a giant hug when he was leaving. I already told my mother- in -law and sister- in -law to use these guys when they need this service. I can't rave about them enough! Thank you Howard and Jeffrey for your amazing services! “Update: I had Suburban Dynamite come back and clean my carpets. Another excellent job! Before he started, Dustin spot cleaned several stains, walked around and looked for areas that needed special attention. Dustin has a truck mounted steam cleaning and does the work himself, using no chemicals. My carpets smelled fresh and looked great. My stairs were pretty dirty and he took his time going over each stair and each riser. He even left me some plastic slippers to wear until the carpets dried.I was so pleased with the cleaning of my windows and carpets, that I texted Dustin to ask if he could clean my 7 stained patio chair cushions. He responded quickly with a reasonable price so I scheduled again. Two nice guys came with the truck mounted unit and steam cleaned all sides of my cushions. They laid them out to dry on a canvas on my garage floor.I highly recommend Suburban Dynamite for windows, carpet, and cleaning outdoor cushions. “Our 18 year old Monier Lifetile Cedarlite roof had many broken tiles due to its inherent fragility and foot traffic from painters and solar equipment installers. Most roofers that we contacted refused to work on it because of its fragility. We eventually found 3 roofers who made bids (one without even going up on the roof!). We chose California Custom Contractors (CCC) because the owner, Greg Meo did a thorough inspection which he documented with photographs. His proposal, again carefully documented with photographs of the proposed repairs, was not the cheapest of the 3 but its thoroughness and Greg's obvious experience with Cedarlite tile roofs (again, more photos of past jobs) made the choice clear. We learned that CCC does not install new roofs but only does repairs.CCC cleaned moss and other debris from the roof, replaced and painted all pipe flashings, replaced all broken tiles and installed metal flashing to replace the original cracked lead flashing. All of the work done was documented with photographs. Our roof now looks fantastic and we are confident that there will be no leaks. Greg and his team of 3 very experienced workers were a pleasure to work with and get my highest recommendation. If your roof needs careful conscientious repair, call California Custom Contractors; despite their generic name, they only repair roofs.“

“I had a roof leak that I couldn't find, a contractor friend looked at it and couldn't find it. I called Cornell Roofing and Clint Sr. came out and he couldn't find it but patched a couple of spots to try to stop the leak. The next time it rained, it was still leaking so I called Clint and told him that I wanted to get it re-roofed. He sent a guy out to tarp it for me and within a short time he had his crew on-site busting it out. Clint Jr. and his crew re-roofed and took care of all dry rot in two days. I highly recommend Cornell Roofing for your roofing project.“
