Catherine is amazing! I came to her with some lower back pains and elbow issues and seeing her has made a huge improvement. The office is spotless and she's a great educator in helping me understand what is going on with my body.

Catherine is a very skilled and highly effective massage therapist. She, in conjunction with my chiropractor, has been a tremendous help in managing my back and related problems (stenosis, sciatica, etc). Not only is Catherine a very good massage therapist, she is also a very nice person and a pleasure to interact with. I almost hesitate to recommend her because she is so good she books up quickly.

I have been a massage therapist for 20 years and a chiropractor for 10, so it goes without saying that I know bodywork. I have received hundreds of sessions over the years and can say, without a moment of hesitation, that Catherine has some of the best hands and techniques I have ever experienced, and is easily one of the best massage therapists in the East Bay. The moment you walk into her office you realize that she is professional and multi-talented. Her office is clean, fresh and organized. She has good music playing with a good sound system. Her table is super-comfortable and she uses blankets and heaters when it is cold so that you are comfortable. Even her massage lotion is incredible (I asked her if she sold it because I need it too!). But her techniques and the results you get are what really matter. I can say that she finds all the tender spots and is able to get into the tension in a deep way without it hurting per se - she can back off perfectly and go slowly enough in the tight areas that you can still relax and get serious releases. She is trained in ART (active release technique), which is one of the absolute best training out there (next to Rolfing). Many chiropractors train in ART because of its reputation. Just trust me and go to her for any physical complaints. I couldn't believe how good I felt after my session and will continue to see Catherine regularly. I am sending all of my patients to her for extra soft-tissue work, so you had better call now before her waiting list gets too long. :~)
