I have called this place 6 times and emailed via the website over the course of three weeks. I have been very patient as I understand things happen and or maybe they are busy. The fact that I never got a response Is just down right unprofessional. I would NEVER recommend this company. And now I'm glad that I got a refund from Groupon as I wouldn't want to get a massage from a company like that.

This was a bad massage and bad overall experience. Let's start with having to reschedule my massage due to the masseuse "having a kidney stone that's now infected and she's in the hospital." Too much information. Having to reschedule sucked but I understand things happen. Day of the rescheduled appointment I get a phone call stating she was calling to either confirm or reschedule my appointment, how did she not know which one? She then asked if I WANTED to reschedule, I said no, I didn't WANT to; the appointment was then confirmed. I walked in and the masseuse was speaking very loudly to a vendor about security cameras. She asked me to complete a form, standing at the counter while she continued the conversation with the vendor. There were no paper towels in the bathroom, but a cloth hand towel that was damp from previous uses- gross. During the massage the masseuse made small talk the WHOLE time and she offered unsolicited advice the WHOLE time as well. She offered cupping, which I declined, several times; I told her I had tried it before and didn't really like it, she informed me "that's probably because whoever did I it before didn't do it right." She finally informed me that the cupping was included "so, I don't know what else we would do for 90 minutes," I begrudgingly agreed. I left with signature cupping bruises on my forearms. She used peppermint oil on my whole body, I was freezing by the end. Her technique was poor (she only used her thumb) so the "massage" was painful; so much so, that my palms were sweating as I anxiously anticipated where she would go next and tried to cope with the pain she was causing. I asked her to focus on my neck and back; she pretty much neglected my back (besides the cuping) and did not give enough attention to my neck. She preceded to do my arms, legs, arms again, shoulders, arms again, and head. At one point I asked her to leave a knot in my leg because she was causing so much pain. I moved away from her several time, automatically, because she was attacking the knots so intensely. She also put a hot towel on me that I removed because it was too hot. I could not wait to leave. She left dirty towels out at the end and I was cover in oil. I will not be returning. Update: I also have bruising on my underarms, tricep area, from the "massage.

I was excited to visit this wellness center so I purchased their Groupon promotion 90 minute massage & 15 minutes of hot stones. I figured if this went well I would try other services I saw advertised on its website. Yet, this place was a huge disappointment. I came to my scheduled appointment and my masseuse seemed a little awkward and strange. I explained to her that I came for a 90 minute massage and she said she was going to try a gentle technique to help with my tense shoulders. I trusted that she was experienced since she was working at a wellness center after all. What I found strange is that she suggested I stay fully dressed. I reminded her once again that this was a 90 minute massage in case there was any confusion. I have had a lot of massages in my life but none like this. She did not use any oil or lotion and was literally placing her hand over my back I wasn't sure if she was praying over me or performing reiki session. She asked if my back felt better I answered "a little"and she corrected me and said that there was a "huge difference". She also swore that she completely got rid of a knot that I have had for years (which was not true I could clearly feel it still there). I couldn't sit thru the whole massage I had to tell her to stop. She claimed that she paid a lot of money for someone to do the same technique on her. Weirdest massage I've ever experienced. I just had to get out of there ASAP! I later learned that I was this masseuse's physical interview (first massage here) and she was new which is probably not the best idea to let someone that you are not familiar with perform massages on potential long term clients or anyone for that matter. After, I was told by another masseuse who I believe is the owner that she would compensate me by offering a free massage by her personally. I hesitated but accepted and scheduled that for this week. Someone called me to confirm my appointment 30 minutes before my appointment I let them know I would be there. When I showed up I learned that my masseuse was no show and they asked that I come back another day. Someone had literally just confirmed my appointment 30 minutes before! I take it as a sign that this place just isn't meant to be for me. If you schedule a massage here I suggest you confirm your appointment before getting there and most importantly confirm that you aren't going to be someone's practice/interview dummy.
