After talking to several Bankruptcy Attorneys, we had our consultation with John C Colwell at the DRLC. It is never easy sharing your financial problems but right away John made us feel at ease. He is very knowledgeable of bankruptcy laws. He explained all our choices and what we could expect if we decided to file bankruptcy. He took the time to answer all our questions. John was never judgmental, just kind and professional. We didn't rushed or pressured to file (unlike some of the other firms we talked to). After the meeting we knew DRLC and John C Colwell was the right choice! in addition the fees were very reasonable for the quality of service at DRLC. They even allowed us to make payments. Mr. Colwell and his team, especially Lupe, were amazing! They guided us through the process step by step. Always returning our calls promptly and keeping us on track. After foolishly getting a loan from Title Max, I found Debt Relief Legal Clinic and had a wonderful experience with filing chapter 13. I saved my car and reduced my monthly debt. Debt Relief Legal Clinic was a godsend and they were very knowledgeable and easy to work with.
I checked around to find the lowest cost for chapter 7, (including a sign on the side of a truck advertising about half the price of Debt Clinic). At a consultation the cut rate atty it turned out the few hundred bucks advertised was part of the cost and after adding in the unmentioned fees it turned out to be what John Colewell quoted right off the bat. He knows his business, he's straight forward and doesn't con or deceive. Very easy to talk to and with the capable assistance of Maria and Lupe It made it a breeze and a pleasure. Any and All three were there with any questions I had.
