If you have a vision for your backyard, Manuel can make it happen! I used Cortes Masonry Construction to redo my entire backyard and Manuel and his team were great to work with--friendly, punctual, trustworthy, clean and just very skilled at what they do. I had a pattern in mind that was a little difficult in some corners, but his team executed it flawlessly and better than I imagined. Here's a couple before/after pictures so you can view for yourself. Manuel was also very fair on price. I especially appreciated how detailed his proposal was so I could clearly see how much everything cost. It was night and day compared to a bid I got from one of those bigger backyard paver companies. I would absolutely recommend Cortes Masonry Construction to anyone!

We've had numerous contractors work on our home over the years, but I've never encountered the level of competency and professionalism we experienced with Cortes Masonry. From the first call, Manuel was friendly and punctual. He even helped us get some minor concrete work done after another contractor flaked on us - and we hadn't even officially hired him for the patio project yet. Manuel was even digitally savvy. He used a software program to manage estimating, contract signing, and change orders - documents each of us had access to online. Unlike a lot of contractor companies who send out an estimator and project manager at the beginning but then disappear when the actual work begins leaving workers on their own without onsite guidance, Manuel was present on the job almost every day. He even did quite a bit of the work alongside his team. Our project was semi-complicated and they handled every challenge with great skill and competency. They worked off of my designs and paid attention to all the little details that mattered to me. Most importantly, when problems occurred (they always do) they were more than willing to change or re-do something to meet my expectations. No eye rolling. They just did what needed to be done and with a friendly attitude all along the way. Rarely do you find a unicorn like this. Hire them. You won't regret it.

Manuel put in a 40 ft block retaining wall for me. He work was quick and completely professional. Not only will I recommend Cortes Masonry Construction, I have already requested a quote for a second job. I plan on working with them again. I don't need to receive quotes from other contractors. Manuel is the best. He delivers results, is extremely professional, and offers good advice to make the project better than you would have.
