California Karate Academy is a business located in Vista that offers martial arts training six days a week for children and adults. The academy teaches self-defense, personal awareness and discipline, fitness, and fun for students as young as three years old. They have two studios and over 45 classes a week, and they also offer cross training for students seven years and older with their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu supplemental program. Parents have expressed their gratitude for the academy, stating that the instructors are extremely professional, passionate, helpful, and friendly. They appreciate how the instructors not only teach the kids about self-awareness and respect in the studio but also emphasize the importance of showing respect and responsibility at home and in school. Parents have observed a significant improvement in their children's behavior and a positive change in their character. The academy has strong women instructors who serve as excellent role models for both boys and girls. The instructors teach useful self-defense skills, language, technique, athleticism, perseverance, self-management, and other life lessons that the children enjoy. The staff is top-notch, and the children have made friends in class and see familiar faces from school and other activities. The academy offers a Black Belt Program that includes weapons training and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. They also have summer camps and Ninja Nights that the children look forward to. The parents highly recommend the academy for any parent looking for a great karate/BJJ school to place their child in. The children learn discipline, acquire new skills, and have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
