“It was a relaxing and serene massage/facial. Imme was very friendly when I first checked in and she asked a few questions about preferences and focus areas for my massage and my routines for my face care. This made it more personalized, which was nice.

The massage was great—I wanted one specifically to just relax. I told her about the majority of my pain, where she focused more on, but didn’t try to aggressively wring the knots out.

As for the facial, I drifted off a little, just because it was relaxing—it wasn’t a full on deep cleanse since I had booked the combo, but it was a good reset for my face after weeks of travel.

The salon facilities, hair and nail areas looked beautifully adorned and the massage room was just gorgeous. Very relaxing. Everything was clean, smelled wonderfully and very nice music. “I wanted to find a local salon and A Secret Place was recommended to me by an acquaintance. My initial phone call to the salon was very informative.
Jade did my hair and she put me at ease by taking her time to ask questions and talk me through potential cuts and color. I can't think of a stylist who has taken that much time to make sure I was comfortable. I'm so happy with the results! Jade also put extra effort in to explain how to style the new cut and to recommend products to me. I had a fabulous experience at A Secret Place!“

“I've never experienced a salon quite like KINshoppe and now that I have found KINshoppe, I never have to experience another salon! I booked with Roxy (Discovered her on IG) and not only do I love my new hair but I loved the entire salon experience. She provided a preference sheet prior to my appt and on that sheet I was able to choose what type of appt I preferred such as silent, energetic or relaxed. I was given the drink menu-- I chose the monthly drink and it was waiting for me upon my arrival. The preference sheet also asked if there were additional services I wanted to add in addition to my complimentary scalp massage!! From start to finish, I felt like I received royal treatment. The vibe was calm, the aesthetic is adorable and Roxy is kind, honest (and she listened to my wants!) I have already booked my next session!“

“Overall I enjoyed my 1 hour massage. Called ahead of time to make sure it was ok to drop in. Lady on the phone was nice and was able to schedule with one hour notice. Upon arrival she gave me water and had me sit in a comfy chair. Keep in mind this place is basic but does have private rooms. It's nice and dim with relaxing music playing. The masseuse was polite but doesn't give instructions. She just left me in the room but that's ok this wasn't my first rodeo. She was pretty good, surprised me with hot stones and hot towels. Overall I think for the price it was great.“
