If the nursing service is anything like the customer service, steer clear. I intended to engage this agency for periodic backup care for a relative. I made it clear that I was looking for sporadic services and did not intend to set up a regular weekly schedule. I agreed to pay $250 to "open the case," which seemed like a high fee for that purpose, but whatever. Then, the day before a scheduled "assessment," I was asked to pay for 8 hours of service (something north of $600) as a "deposit." If the nursing service is anything like the customer service, steer clear. I intended to engage this agency for periodic backup care for a relative. I made it clear that I was looking for sporadic services and did not intend to set up a regular weekly schedule. I agreed to pay $250 to "open the case," which seemed like a high fee for that purpose, but whatever. Then, the day before a scheduled "assessment," I was asked to pay for 8 hours of service (something north of $600) as a "deposit." I explained that I was only contemplating an initial one-time engagement of 4 hours -- and that I wanted to meet with a representative of the agency before deciding for sure about that. It struck me as ridiculous that I was expected to pay twice as much as the service I was considering would cost -- all in advance! When I said as much, I repeatedly heard, "I'm sorry you feel that way, but this is our policy." I really hate it when someone tries to extract funds on an irrational basis and then characterizes resistance as a problem of my "feelings." I hung up. NurseCore strikes me as a money-grubbing operation that has so little confidence in its ability to satisfy customers that it requires huge payments upfront to guarantee profits. It makes me wonder whether anything about its operations -- including the quality of its care -- can be trusted.

Came in to fill out plenty of paper work, watching a 1 hr video, did physical exam, TB test and urine test. All in all it has taken a toll of my time only to find out that they have no job. Blatantly a waste of my tme and money. Stay the heck a away from this zombie agency.
