Dear Miramar Eye Specialists Team, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude and appreciation for the exceptional care and attention I received at your esteemed facility. On August 15, I noticed a significant increase in the number of floaters in my left eye. Concerned about this sudden change, I promptly reached out to your clinic to schedule an appointment. I spoke with a receptionist who kindly arranged an appointment for me, but it was for a month and a half later. I felt a growing urgency in my eye condition and insisted on an earlier examination. Your team promptly accommodated my request and scheduled an appointment just two days later. It was during this appointment that I met Dr. Roberto Roizenblatt, who diagnosed my condition as a detached retina and recommended immediate surgery. I shudder to think what might have happened had I not insisted on that earlier appointment. Dr. Roizenblatt's skillful intervention likely saved me from permanent blindness in my left eye, and for that, I am eternally grateful. I want to emphasize that my intention in writing this comment is not to cast a negative light on Miramar Eye Specialists. On the contrary, I firmly believe that Miramar is the finest eye care facility in the country. The dedicated employees I've encountered over the years have consistently demonstrated unwavering professionalism, compassion, and impeccable bedside manner. My purpose in sharing my experience is to urge anyone who experiences a sudden increase in eye floaters to insist on an emergency eye examination, regardless of where they seek care. My story is a testament to the importance of swift action when it comes to eye health. As for the present, I am delighted to report that my eye is healing well under the care of Dr. Roizenblatt. His expertise and gentle approach during the surgery were truly remarkable, and the fact that it didn't hurt is a testament to his skill and your facility's commitment to patient comfort. I have been going to family vision for years. From the friendly staff to the knowledgeable doctors they are a class act. I’ve been in a bind a couple of times where I needed my prescription sent emergently and they always helped out quickly. They are full service as full service gets.

I couldn't be happier with Dr. Kim! My previous eye doctor stopped taking my insurance plan, and now I'm grateful for that - what a night and day difference in service and quality! I chose Family Vision Center because of the Yelp reviews and I was not disappointed. I have somewhat complicated needs for my contact lenses, and Dr. Kim explained all of my options and my test results thoroughly and in a way I could understand. They have advanced equipment for testing the health of your eyes, and all of the staff is kind and professional. I feel like I have a new lease on life with my new contact lenses and I can't wait to pick up my cute new glasses that will give me a slight boost for computer work. They have a new customer for life!
