Shout out to Becca who's taking all our calls. She was super helpful and understanding. Answered all my questions. I really like ordering products from APS water, they have everything and more! Specifically I order replacement parts for our Barnstead Nanopure Water system that needs maintenance every year. So thankful to have a company out there who can support all our water needs!
I have long preferred distilled water for my home drinking water needs. The first distiller I bought was a constant source of frustration as it was always breaking, so when it came time to replace it, I decided to research a little more and buy a unit that was industrial grade. This led me to APS Water. Dino, the sales rep, recommended the Durastill brand, and for five years it functioned without incident. Recently, the solenoid burned out and fried the electronics. I took the unit in, and Mitch, the owner - and a very cool dude - personally repaired the unit. When he discovered the electronics were beyond repair, he provided me with a replacement unit at no charge. No, the unit wasn't under warranty anymore, this is just the type of guy he is. When do you ever encounter a business owner like this? The quality service and total professionalism has made me a customer for life.
I bought a new head for my water softener here and was extremely pleased with the help I got to install it (as well as the advice on NOT to buy the electronic version, which is more expensive but prone to problems). After I did the initial install it would not draw brine in from the brine tank but technical help (now I forget his name) was super patient and helpful. He (patiently) walked me through several potential causes until it was fixed. I should also add that he was willing to answer all my (unrelated) questions regarding the details of how the thing worked. I'm posting this now, nearly a year later since I just saw they only had two review and one of them was bad...In my experience they are a clear 5 starts.
