I had the task to redo an apartment unit & figured I'd just remove the carpet and add vinyl flooring . I found Eddie in the AOA magazine and gave him a call to get an estimate on the project. He came the same day and when we looked underneath the carpet we found out that there was original wood floor underneath and decided instead of doing vinyl I would just have the floors sanded down and stained. Eddie was very knowledgeable, patient and explained everything in detail and answered all my questions and concerns. Very responsive and high quality work. Eddie came immediately after I contacted him for a quote and was willing to start the next day. We agreed to refinish the existing hardwood floors in the apartment vs new laminate. Both options were quoted. The natural oak finish, which I wanted, came out better than expected.
