“On three separate occasions we used Tarwat's Hollywood Refinishing and Associates. That in itself tells the story. Otherwise, why would we use him three times. 1. In early 2021 we re-did the Kitchen Cabinets2. Then in 2021 we completely re-did the Master Bathroom3. In 2022 we re-did the Family Room, including building a new 12+ ft Entertainment Center Cabinet with a Quartz Top and a Quartz Rebuild of the Fireplace.Tarwat was always responsive and kept the project moving. His prices seem fair and his crew was right on top of the projects. There is no question I would recommend him to others.I might add, I am not a rookie using contractors. I have had my fair share of good and bad. The one prior to Hollywood Refinishers was a near disaster.The mark of an excellent contractor is where the work gets better with more projects. He recommended 4'x2' tile that ended up looking amazing and did not cost very much. At the end of the job, there were a few minor workmanships things that we wanted fix, which they did quickly and at no extra cost. We were extremely happy with their work and and very happy with our "new" kitchen, and living room. We plan to use Molina Cabinets to upgrade our master bathroom after the holidays. “I was referred to Vick by a friend of ours in regards to a kitchen remodel I wanted done. I had never tackled a project like this before and was actually very intimidated at first. I contacted Vick and set up an appointment to come out to his shop to discuss my plans. He was very flexible. I being a mechanic myself am very very picky on who I like to work on and touch my belongings. When I walked into his shop to find him actively working and was very relived to find it organized. I discussed with him my ideas and he improved on my ideas by providing his expertise and professional input with design ideas and such, which I ended up going with due to the fact they were brilliant. He guided me on how to run certain things and where they should be and how I should leave it for him. During installation I had changed some ideas around and he was able to work with them building me an extra cabinet that wasn't on the original plan. Rory at Heartwood was prompt to respond to inquiries and after some initial discussion, was able to provide a sketch of the project. I was impressed with her attention to detail, including ancillary issues unrelated to the cabinet itself (making sure we knew to get water and plumbing moved for the refrigerator, taking into account the position of overhead lighting, etc). The project took about three weeks, which matched the estimate given at the beginning. The installation was fast and neatly done and the new cabinet is functional as well as aesthetically pleasing.“
