We contacted Cornerstone Remodeling after a faucet leak damaged our kitchen cabinets. This company had completed kitchen remodels for several of our friends and they came highly recommended. This company is fantastic! Kymberlee, the project manager, was outstanding! She is incredibly organized, a fantastic communicator, and super easy to work with. Bill was also a pleasure. He has a great eye for detail and gave some excellent suggestions. They make a wonderful team! The crew that came to do the work was always professional, friendly, and did an outstanding job. The project was even finished ahead of schedule! I would not hesitate to use this company again for my next project and have already recommended them to several friends and family members.
We needed Cornerstone to help repaint some of our cabinet doors and drawer fronts. They came out to give us a quote and than after reviewing it, set up for them to pick up the doors/drawers. They were very patient with scheduling delays we had due to medical reasons. After testing a door with color, they left it for us to approve. We needed an adjustment, so they quickly came to get another door to compare and the color match worked. They came out and quickly pulled off the drawers/doors they were going to repaint for us. In a little over a week they were finished spraying on the pain and brought all doors/drawers back and reinstalled them. They left us a mini sprayer and paint so we could do touchups as needed. I would recommend their service and customer service to anyone who needs work done. They were all professional throughout the whole process.
We met with Cornerstone and a couple of other remodeling companies. After meeting with all of them, we decided to go with Cornerstone. No, they were not the cheapest, nor the highest but they were very collaborative during the entire process. They came up with a great design that worked for our home including opening up a wall that separated the kitchen and the living room. Their guys who did the work are super knowledgeable and were very fastidious when they were working in the kitchen, specifically the electrical wiring. Our home was built in 1959 and still had the original electrical wiring and they pointed that out. Yes, it did cost us extra (to be expected on a project like this) but I appreciated the extra attention to detail to this and other items during our remodel. We did not need them to do any wallpapering but they did recommend color schemes and paint when trying to decide what colors we wanted for the cabinets, island and paint on the walls. Were their bumps along the way, of course there was. It's remodel, it's going to happen. But they were very professional and worked with us to resolve those "bumps" and we ended up with a beautiful kitchen & dining room. They even helped us with suggestions on fixing some living room issues as well. Like I said, they were not the cheapest and not the most expensive BUT working collaboratively with them was a great experience considering all of the horror stories of people getting ripped off by other contractors. If you have a project you can trust Cornerstone to be honest and up front with you, no games.
