While I chose not to go to Brian Gilpin a few years ago, I decided to come to yelp to check reviews and see what other experiences other people have had. For anyone looking for info on his tax services, I found Brian to have a very cocky attitude. He seemed very ho- hum about advising me about my taxes. I told him I wanted him to do the best for me in regard to how much I owed and he said that was not his job. Seriously, he was NOT joking!! He did an addendum to a previous year's taxes and made a mistake and seemed very put out to have to do it correctly!! He agreed to do a flash drive with past years taxes, and told me when to pick it up, but had forgotten to do it. I walked out of his office when I FINALLY got the flash drive that year, and decided No More and found someone else who goes thru my taxes for the current year and next year's projection very thoroughly and is willing to advise with tax related questions/concerns if they arise during the year.

Beware of this accountant. His reviews are not balanced since he removes anything negative. Our experience bordered on negligence and he showed bias and disinterest, and over charged!

I have been using Brian to do my taxes on several businesses and personal taxes. He is honest and tells it like it is. I have been using Brian since 1991 so I can speak from experience. He is good at what he does and you will easily gain his respect if you are not trying to game the system. I owe part of my financial success to Brian's attention to detail and mentoring. You won't find a better CPA anywhere And I highly recommend Brian.
