“I've always been delighted by the service and friendliness of the folks at Alpine Cleaners; my family has been taking our business exclusively to them for about 15 years now.They do a great job with all of our clothes (business attire, Indian garments) and on the few occasions where we've brought them delicate items to deal with, they are clear about what they will try to do, what risks there might be, and then leave us to make an informed decision. For example, recently I brought in a 40-year-old letterman's jacket which was not in great shape. They examined it carefully, walked me through what they thought could be done, and then did a great job brightening it up.Overall, they're reliable and friendly. When they make a mistake (maybe twice in 15 years in our experience?), they own up to it and make it right. How could you really ask for more than that?We are happy to continue to bring all of our business to them. You will be, too.“

“This was my first experience with Menlo Art Cleaners. I hope this experience continues. My previous dry cleaner closed its business (for good). At the suggestion of an acquaintance, I tried Menlo Art Cleaners to have a very nice, poly-filled winter coat (for very cold weather) dry cleaned. It came back looking wonderful -- I hadn't had it cleaned in a long time, tho' I don't wear it a lot. The price was exceptional, probably less than I would have paid at my previous cleaners.The timing was roughly a week. I was in no hurry, but my first experience will, hopefully, make me a repeat customer.“

“We have used dry cleaning and laundry service at Santa Fe, New York City, Denver, and Steamboat Springs, CO and we find that the best is this Menlo shirt laundry. The shirts have been perfectly done each time as well as the dry cleaning. We have used them for 38 years and the result has been outstanding every time. “First time stopping at this cleaners as I needed some floor pillows cleaned. A 4-legged house guest really liked sitting/leaning on them and after an 8-day stay got a bit stained.I've passed R & J Quick Clean Center many times but never had the opportunity to use them...called up for approx pricing and was given 2 options: have them clean or I could use any of the machines to do it myself. Out of convenience and time, I had them do it (dropped off at 9am on a weekday) and it was ready by early evening! R & J Quick Clean Center is dated (it's been family-owned/run in Castro Valley since 1962) but clean with old-school customer service. Service was friendly, helpful and welcoming! I believe the person helping me that day was Sam. Thank you! Price of cleaning 2 large floor pillows (24x24") approx $26. Place wasn't busy for self service and will definitely utilize their large machines next time.Note: Bought covers to update the look a bit and easier cleaning“

Prices are great (still got the new introductory rate). No problems with the jacket I got cleaned. Be aware that there is a $10 minimum for credit cards. Will return.“

“There's tons of dry cleaning options but for me I have allergies so I can really appreciate that this one is organic. They also do alterations. Shout out to the lady who always help me out by carrying my clothes to the car since my foot surgery. I also love the attention to detail for my harder to clean items such as sequences and rhinestones. There's a dedicated parking spot which helps because it's a very busy strip mall.“

“I used this dry cleaner for hemming and altering pants for quite a while. Most stores don't have pants in my size, so I typically need to take new pairs to a dry cleaner. They are very efficient, and it was usually a pick up within a week of dropping them off. If you are unsure of the measurement they will take the time to have you try them on and do the actual pinning and measurement for what you need. Friendly people, good service, good speed.“

They are Korean, and do not have a good grasp of the English language, but who does. They are the nicest, most honest , and very kind people. I have never had a complaint about their work or their prices, so I was astounded at the terrible reviews they have received. We have lived in Castro Valley over 50 years, and I have had some really bad experiences at some other cleaners, so I was happy that I found Manor, and I appreciate their good work.“
