A bit pricier than most and odd atmosphere. The director completely singled out one person and that's where her focus was irregardless who in the room. I found that rude and not compassionate.
They helped me through a situation I thought I'd never be in, when my wife died unexpectedly. I called around and they weren't the cheapest but they weren't the most expensive either. I didn't know what to do, since my wife was at Oakland Kaiser. I talked with Ken and he said they can go pick her up for about $300 to get her over here and start the cremation process. Ken was great to handle this sad time for my family and I. Very respectful, patient, flexible and professional.I'm glad I called them. I told my daughter when it's time for me to go this is the place.The whole staff was very friendly and helpful especially Ken that helped us!
The funeral director, Ken Beard was so amazing! He helped us from the start to finish with the entire cremation and state paperwork process. Ken was there for us when we couldn't think clearly as we were coping with the loss of my aunt. Ken was extremely kind, professional, and organized and we truly cannot thank him enough.
