I went to Altura Centers for Health today to see an OBGYN by the name of Dr. Borberg and he was INCREDIBLE! Here's my review if you too are looking for an exceptional OBGYN that takes Medi-Cal: Dr. Borberg OBGYN was a breath of fresh air! I had just gone through a nightmare of care situation with Family Healthcare Network and Seqouia Family Medical Center so I was VERY anxious to meet Dr. Borberg but he was SO kind, gentle, attentive, and actually listened to my concerns. He's the first OBGYN to order blood work to check my hormone levels. And what's great is Labcorp is right across the parking lot of Altura. I was able to get everything one and done in one visit. With Dr. Borberg, I felt heard, understood, and seen. I left the appointment crying but it was HAPPY TEARS this time because Dr. Borberg was everything I could've asked for in a doctor and more! When I was bringing up my concerns he didn't dismiss them but took me seriously. This is not something I had felt with the other healthcare centers so you can imagine how happy and relieved this made me knowing I'd had found a practice that cares about their patients! Thank you, Altura Centers for Health for making me feel important and restoring my faith in the American healthcare system. I wasn't just a "billable patient" they were trying to rush through as many as possible before quitting time. Dr. Borberg reeeaaallly took his time with me and made sure I didn't have any other questions or concerns I wanted to address. I felt like I was the one who was ending the appointment, if that makes any sense! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Jason Chen is a charming young dentist who is very motivated and competent. I highly recommend him. Dr. Herman Tjioe might be the best dentist I ever met had but he usually does not do checkups because he has managerial duties. I also am very thankful that they worked during the worst part of the 2020 pandemic. They risked their lives to help patients.

Stephanie in the referral department is so kind and goes the extra mile to help people like me with insurance and referral issues. Although I am not a patient of Dr. Chahil's, he reviewed my referral as quickly as he could. From my dealings with Altura Centers, they were very pleasant and helpful.
